Nice vid as always Bryan! Love the underwater footage, we get to see how the fish interact but yah for sure i believe in the camera curse! Lost a musky for the first time because i finally decided to film!
Thanks again man. Bummer! Muskie too. Camera curse is so real. If I wasn't into filming these videos I would use camera to find spot then I would be flasher all the way!
The CAMERA CURSE is definitely real, Bryan. I love using my underwater camera, but I ALWAYS catch less fish when using it. Some fish just seem spooked by it. Other times you sit there trying to catch a fish you can see that just won’t bite when there are probably more off camera that you could’ve coaxed in. Great video, though. Nice slab of a panfish. 👊🤨
It's so real! I agree with you, flasher you can catch more fish. Camera is just more fun to watch but you get watching and not feeling for the bite. Man that panfish was a slab. Looks like most of them cruising were nice. Here in MN the season ends at the end of the month for most species except panfish. Might have to come back out for these guys!
There are a few different lakes that have very small numbers of Pike. I have never tried targeting them. I should give it a try. Most people that catch them here are fishing for a different species of fish and luck into a Pike. Good job on your videos. I enjoy them!
I've caught alot of northern. Each one's different lol. Sometimes you have to let them turn the bait fish before striking. You did ok. Lots of good looking fish today.
Awesome! Glad you got out with the cam. Even caught couple perch. Better then nothing. You have seen my days. Someday pike just are cruising for a meal. Next time!
Agreed. The 822 is an awesome unit with a good HD picture but doesn't compare to the HDi Pro. Back to using the 7i Pro as my main camera so I can get the best picture for these videos.
@@BryanProkuski if you weren't doing these videos (don't stop making the videos as they're great) but had both cameras, which one would be your primary? I have the 7i gen 2 but it's such a beast to lug around and I don't post to TH-cam much. AV 822 is intriguing but don't want to lose that much quality or not see as much in murkier water. Thanks for the replies!
Thanks man! Bummer, that sucks. Way too short of an ice season. How long would a normal season be for you? We still have tons of ice. Probably 2 ft thick, Driving out with the truck. How far you from MN? Could always make a trip!
Never been ICE FISHING, but learning alot from your Videos!!! M.O'B
You will have to give it a try someday. The underwater camera is a great tool for learning and fun to watch as well.

I have that no drag lever on one of my reels. It's a nice feature when deadsticking for sure. Nice video Bryan 👍
Thanks Chris! That is awesome. I'm going love using this reel on the deadstick.
I am a huge fan. I love the underwater camera footage. I think you should try. chicken breast.😮
Thanks man! The underwater cam is too fun to watch. I have had others mention chicken breast before... Maybe ill give it a go!

I want to catch Northern Pike. It is on my bucket list! Love the underwater footage!
Thanks man! Awesome, there are fun to catch! Do you have them in your area?

Brother... I have a spot for you!! This last week, I watched 20 strikes!!!
Crazy! That is alot of strikes man!
Love these videos cool to see how the fish react
It's very cool. I learn so much and a blast to watch in the meantime!
Love the pike vids!
Thanks!
Probably the best ice fishing TH-camr under 1mil! I always watch your videos
Thanks! Glad you been enjoying the videos. I enjoy making them for you!
Hey how’s it going
Always going good when you can get out on the ice!
Good answer Bryan!!! M.OB
You should try the dandy flat instead of weeds. Clayton schick says the pike around the weeds don't eat, they go to the dandy flats to eat

Nice! Ya that turn is when you know it's go time. Was nice to see them back to moving around. Going out tomorrow. Hoping they are hungry!
I went ice fishing yesterday with my underwater camera And I caught two perch And I didn't caught to Pike
Awesome! Glad you got out with the cam. Even caught couple perch. Better then nothing. You have seen my days. Someday pike just are cruising for a meal. Next time!
See you on the next one GOD BLESS
Thanks! See you then.
I was just looking at that reel.
It's a great reel. Works awesome for dead sticking. I have one on my walleye dead stick as well.
6:23 just cant with the live bat it’s shaking its head for the pike not to come😂🔥
Thank you once again for a great video... love the cam right under the ice .. nice editing and use of tech .... love this channel ❤
Thanks Jason! Glad you have been enjoying the channel. I love that under ice cam too. Came out great. Now to see some pike through it!
Nice rod and catches
Thanks Patrick!
@@BryanProkuski no problem bro
Looks like the AV 822 isn't as clear as your other camera. What are your thoughts on the two in comparison?

Thanks for vid!!! I bought a 822 and returned it as it wasn’t nearly as clear as my old Revolution 5 pro . Disappointing .
Nice video I’m glad you guys still got solid ice because our ice season here in Michigan just ended 😭 lasted about 8 days too
I hope he answers because I noticed this and asked this question last video.

@@BryanProkuskiHey Brian, im friends with CWM were from grand rapids and last year our ice season was great from January to March
@@BryanProkuski I’m about 6 hours out here in west Michigan. Our ice usually lasts around 3 months
@@NickWells.07 ok cool so normal year you get a couple months. Man bummer on this years 8 days. That is rough. What a weird year.
Where do you fish? Btw epic video
In a lake
I need a BEARS skully.
Yes you do!
dont bounce the lure so much it spooks the pike. just quiver it gently
What is pike. Candy
Sucker minnows aka Pike candy :)
