Propaganda - Jewelled. Hence being not a North American produced track, so its European (German), it definitely sounds great, timeless yet overlooked however. (Hence it was only successful in Europe as it was used as the intro theme for BBC's Rally Report theme until 1998...) Surprisingly, the label that handled both band and track was the same as 808 State, ZTT Records.
I have the exact video of this rally highlight on my dad's collection of VHS rally tapes but it's not a full coverage (it missing few seconds of footages at the beginning), I was hoping someone would actually upload a full coverage of this rally. Thankfully you did. Thanks a bunch! I'm looking forward to see Day 2 of this rally highlight coverage.
@@VHSRallies I had it taped on vhs aswell. Brings back some great memories. I have a box of over 100 vhs rally tapes in the attic. All Irish rallies from the 90's. BBC and eurosport wrc reports from late 90's 00's. 90s French championship with the kit cars.. British championships mostly f2 years. If it was on TV I taped it. Also plenty vhs priductions bought. If anyone wants them or even better, wants to upload them at some stage then I will.post them off at my own cost. I have no way of ever watching them again.
@@VHSRallies will do. I will try and poke out what I have in the next few weeks. And I will give you a shout then . I had them all numbered and documented aswell. Hopefully I can find the book 📖
@@hollyhillbilly1747 I catalog everything I capture anyway. You know how to find me on Twitter and Facebook, right? Addresses are on the end slide of every video (not sure TH-cam allows me to link in comments).
We were up in Kielder forest on this. You had trouble walking on the stage let alone drive on it. Bit of a disappointing turnout for the RAC with some Major teams missing, but what a great drive from Stig. Was still enjoyable but I don't think it was worth the long drive up from Staffordshire.
I was in Kershope - and it was a struggle to walk. And the forest car park tracks were icy.....remember getting out to give people a push while queuing to park.
Still a great event despite being a victim of the FIA's event rotation and only being a round of the 2wd championship. Was in Kershope so saw Ari struggling up the hill amongst many others.
Had the RAC Rally run as full world championship in 1996 instead of 1994, it'll be a great battle between Ford, Subaru and Mitsubishi in those snowy forests, and also Richard... Should've drive his Lancer to represent Britain in a top tier car, I'm sure he could win the rally if he join Kankkunen, Schwarz and the others there on the rally
Did play WRC7 for a few full seasons, but was disappointed to find basically the same stages in subsequent editions. DIRT Rally 2.0 is good fun. I still (very occasionally) fire up Richard Burns Rally. Very little time for gaming, though - computer is usually tied up processing!
This was a particularly poor event. The presenters were more football than motorsport, Ari was out at the beginning and the also rans were putting in the faster times.
Wonder if Mike Calvin ever got that catch up with the Land Rover driver. Ouch.
I hope he knows who he is, because Mike wants to meet him....
I miss that kind of RAC Rally
The computer game Rally Championship has some parts of these clips, was my favourite as a kid
I was here with my late friend. Goosebumps is all i can say. Thank you so much for putting these on here. Massively appreciated
So awesome to see new footage (well, new to me) of Burns, Ari, Juha, Robbie Head and even Martin Brundle's Escort!
So nice to see Richard Burns.
The intro music gets me every time….just awesome

Wasn't it just brilliant. I still get excited when I hear that track. Propaganda. Glory years 🙌

If your dad has more rally VHS tapes then perhaps we should talk...

Who'd have thought that a two wheel drive Skoda would outperform most of the four wheel drive cars, guess the Skoda's lack of weight helped
This is the one I’ve been waiting for. Had this on video back in the day and watched it no end. We all know what happened to Evans on this one!
The real RAC RALLY!
That 'competition' though...! Who could 'boy #3' possibly be? 😂

4:04 on that bend it looks like the place I watched the cars come through at the Roger Albert Clark rally last year
Think John Leslie was a bit out of his depth presenting this
The final Rally GB to see WRC works teams (A8 & A7) blitz through Kielder Forest stages.
Ayyyyyyy that's the music from the V8 Supercars from back in the day...
Beautiful history and good history really even ❤❤
2:25 song in case anybody wonders is born slippy by NUXX
Still remember standin in hafren like yesterday snowmen aplenty
Robbie Head and Gwyndaf Evans were stumped after this
Thank god Richard Burns was there, John Leslie not really the right guy!
BBC (or was it ITV?) smashing out the tunes there
BBC.
Additional interviews by Jeremy Hart.
Does anything bother Stig ? I doubt it !
This was the year that wasn't part of the World Championship.
Hence no works teams..
Apart from the banned Toyota..
VHS Rallies, do you like playing Rally Games?
Yes, of course. :)
@@VHSRallies do you have any favorites?

Big dirty John Leslie, what ever happened to him?😁🤔

Why does Mark Higgins look like a carbon Copy of Jimmy Mcrae just younger
WRC is so boring now.
barely any racing footage, mostly interviews and talking.
So you meant yesterday's WRC was better than today? What do you know much from it then?
