This song is sad. I can't describe in words how truly sad this song is. To me I think it reflects the fact that Yui is treated in a very poor way by the brothers. All that runs through my head is Laito pinning her down on the alter and telling her that there's no God. I'm legitimately crying hearing this. I want to give Yui a giant hug.
When he was down at her thighs, she could of easily kicked his face or all those times when her arms and legs were free. She could of easily wiggles or kicked her way out. Yes, Laito is a vampire and has supernatural strength, but she could of at least tried.
If I was Yui, being stuck in this awful, depressing, and painful situation would in fact push me even closer to God. I’m not religious in the tiniest bit but when your surrounded by abuse, pain, and suffering, I think that the only reason Yui has not gone insane like many girls would in her situation would be the existence of her strong belief in God and the Church’s teachings even if they were the ones that put her there(Idk if it’s confirmed in the games because Raito is NOT a reliable source 😂 so I’m going with unconfirmed). Having a pillar of support in this situation is NEEDED and God would most likely be mine.
I actually agree, because if I didn't have something like God to believe in (which Yui did believe in strongly), my spirit/soul would be broken more easily, especially with how twisted the brothers are in the first place before they changed only because of Yui
This is probably one of the most beautiful yet sad tracks on the soundtrack. It's just gorgeous but what it feels like it represents is very sad. I feel like Latio trying to "reveal the lust that lurks inside" of Yui has good intentions, though he is doing it in a way that's very negative. I think he thinks that Yui Is holding back or something, that when she is believing in God she is trapped in this mindset that you have to follow these rules, and I don't this is making any sense the way I'm saying it but it makes sense in my head so I hope someone gets what I'm saying lol.
I know it's odd for me to say this, but out of all the brothers I feel like Ayato loves her the most, in selfish ways yes, he can be a jerk. Hasn't anyone noticed in the second season he goes out of his way to save her but denies it saying he does it for blood? newsflash the bitch is lying if it was all for blood he really wouldn't care
