This sounds crazy but imagine fs2024, Farm sim 2025, Train sim, & American Truck simulator into one whole universe almost like the meta. Sounds insane but imagine flying over trains thats being played while being in the same universe.
id like to see a new combat flight sim, not sure why they stopped it. but train sim, with german steam trains in WWII, with a P-47 with the working guns like in the combat sim, to be able to strafe the trains.

I can imagine what the intention of Microsoft is because I experienced things in the past which you might would enjoy but the outcome will be worse and you will not like at all. Luckily I am a senior and retired and enjoy day by day. My passion is music now and improving slowly. Soon my ashes will by somwhere and see the problems you will increasingly be facing. It is an easy task and then you will come to music. Not KI, nor cellphone or social media and and and. Just do not believe anything but doubt it first, do not trust YT and endless more. But anyways the outcome will be not stoppable anymore. Like a pandemic without vaccine. My advice is to wach some older movies. „The Day After“ and „Terminator 1“, just leave the End out. Life is not Hollywood.

Yep would love those. I just don’t get as much enjoyment flying modern jets. Part of it is the glass cockpit and honestly I just don’t like any modern jet liners. It would also be nice to see a 757 come to the sim.
@@yamahaguy1732 Hoping Qualitywings does a port, the QW 757 is the only reason I haven't upgraded from FSX at this point.

A few things to try to speed up current loading times are one use the Quick Start Launcher for MSFS20. Second, add your Community Folder to your virus scan exceptions because a lot of people don't know that this whole folder is scanned by Windows when it is accessed so this takes a lot of processing time on launch. I do this with both MSFS20, and DCS:World and it drastically reduces load times.
Hopefully the Joystick and HOTAS allignement can be graphicely done! And it will be easier or even possible to use detents!
I really, really appreciate all these videos. I don't comment on all of them, but I watch each and every one of them. If you are passionate about flight simming you should subscribe. There are a lot of channels that provide reviews of airplanes and various live flights, (and I love those on this channel) but the thing that sets it apart is that it's like a news program that gets you updated on all the things that are happening with the sim and the hobby in general. Nobody else does it as well as Shane does. Living on the east coast of the USA these usually get loaded right before my work day starts, so I just drink my coffee and start my day dreaming about my next flights. Subscribe!

I'll be sticking with 2020 for at least another year so no worries about addons working for me. ;) Seriously though, I won't upgrade until I build a new system as I'm not going to add upgrade issues to my current system. Will say that many of the new features in 2024 look pretty cool.
Looking at the ps4 ground textures that I've now got on Xbox, I don't think Asobo will be up to the job with 2024. Consistant failure to sort out the problems, but constant new content

A big part of problems not being sorted is because of the engine limits. That's part of why they're releasing an improved version of it with 2024. I'm not saying this will fix things or won't add other issues, just putting it out there.
Fun fact: You shouldn't believe them or anyone because the sky isn't blue. That is factually wrong, although I'm also being deliberately pedantic about it. :-D
I'd agree with that about the engine limits. What worries me though is that their solutions and updates made things worse. Su15 turned the ground to porridge and it's still not guaranteed stable!

@@Elwaves2925yes I think that’s the biggest reason they are moving from 2020 to 2024 because that engine they have just doesn’t work good. They try to make it work but it just won’t have it.
@@yamahaguy1732 I agree. I was initially against the idea of a whole new paid version, when 2020 was supposed to get 10 years off updates. The more I thought about it though, the more it made sense to go with a new version.

Great video. I have been wondering about back compatibility of the new 2024 sim. That’s why I have been hesitant to purchase any add ons. You know they say it will be back compatible but we really won’t know until it’s released. I’m sure it will be. I seen this promise on other platforms that never panned out.

I think a lot of us, me included, have immediately put the brakes on buying any more add ons just in case they don't work in five months time.
If everything is a top priority, nothing is a top priority.
I'm pretty certain that my paid add on liveries for default aircraft which aren't in the new version won't work in the new version, whatever Microsoft says .

I wish they did something about the ATC. I use BeyondATC now, which is great, but still feels a little clunky compared to an integrated solution.
BeyondATC will get better. Keep in mind it is still just in early access form
@@harryw6358 Of course, I'm not really talking about that, more about the fact that I have to run 5 separate apps in addition to MSFS to get somewhere :D I'd love if they were just included in the sim itself.

OKAY... THAT'S IT!!!... I've had enough of this, I've been watching these FS2024 trailers for a few months now (seems like years) and after reading through as many comments as possible (on many channels), I've noticed, or rather I haven't noticed , the comments about the helicopter!
That's right... there aren't any!
I dunno, maybe it's because I'm a British Army Veteran, Aircraft Tech, who worked on heli's for years, or maybe it's because I'm just an anally-pedantic geek/nerd/weirdo, but I saw it the very first time I watched, and tried to ignore it.
But, I can't... I do think that, so far, I'm the only person to have notice the problem, so I HAVE TO finally say something, you're just the unlucky people who get to hear me rant! Sorry 'bout that.
It's long been a bone of contention about MSFS20's helicopter flight model. Now, I can finally say why..., at least, I can say it as a joke. But more on that, in a little while.
You see, At the moment, ALL of FS20's flight models are based, like FSX/P3D's before it, on 'tables' of data rather than actually 'aero-modelling', from the in-sim aircraft's actual designed aerodynamic model, like 'X-Plane'.
Theoretically then, my observation shouldn't have any consequences for the flight model, i.e. in FS20, a '200Ton Earth-Mover', a 'Brick', a 'Manitee' or even a 'Giant Redwood', can all take to the air like a Humming-Bird, if the table says so. That's why, my observation wouldn't matter, hence it can only be a joke.
HOWEVER... if, as I believe, MSFS24's future is WITH actually using aerodynamic modelling, then I, for one, WILL NOT be flying the helicopter shown at the start of this video! That really IS a joke! Q. Was this trailer originally released on 01 Apr 2024 by any chance?

That's a bit weird... right? It's actually, counter-rotating to the direction of the leading-edge of the blades!
Now I'm not sure if the actual direction of rotation really matters, but I'm damn sure my AQMS would have, '... had a quiet chat', which would have been at the top of his lungs, "Corporal Smith, I'm gonna rip your f'kin arms off and beat you to death with the soggy-ends", if I'd rebuilt a TR and put the Blades back on, facing the wrong way! 🤣🤣🤣
There have been comments on helis, a better and more realistic flight model for one. And considering the fact that we are still like 5 months from release, I wouldn’t be surprised if the rotor spins correctly once the sim is launched.
These questions were already answered so nothing new to understand

Yea, lets have the users continue to use the Community Folder which is encrypted and causes havoc for users. I hate Microshaft with a burning passion and no flight sim is going to change that fact.
