TERRIBLE WEATHER KAYAK FISHING - HOBIE PRO ANGLER 14 - LEE BAY NORTH DEVON

- On the word of many Weather apps and the Weatherman, I headed over to North Devon for a day out on the water with Barry Tucker.
This was the day after the last small storm they gave a silly name.
For the record, the weatherman should be given a p45 and relocated to a new job, as forecasting the Weather was not his strong point.
Not even close...
So, I was there and so was Barry. We headed out into what turned out to be pretty bad weather.
We persevered for as long as we could before giving up.
I was saved from blanking by 2 decent size Mackerel, as long as I don't blank I'm always happy.
I only really made this short video to show THE ENGLISH THE HOBIE PRO ANGLER 14 IS AT HOME IN THE SALT and handles it well up there with all the other kayaks.
I get really annoyed by people in this country telling me my kayak is only for freshwater whilst everyone else around the world is CATCHING MARLIN, GROUPER, SAILFISH and Sharks ECT...
So to all those people who knock my PRO ANGLER 14... UP YOURS...

Hello from Oregon! I fish like conditions in an Old Towne 106 Minn Kota. Yeah, a 10 ft. kayak. Let me ask you what rods you're using? Don't have those here. We catch big salmon, ling cod ect. here on light tackle, Pacific ocean of course. Great content!
These are daiwa saltiga braid specials in various sizes. Amazing rods and lovely to use. Not sure they are still available now. I was thinking I might get some penn slammer rods of they ever become available here.

Just got a PA 14 and very inexperienced my first yak ever be a while before I go out in ocean like that scarey I reckon
Just watch your surroundings. Waves, swell ect. You'll be fine in a pa14 👍

Another amazing video. Need more! Need to also know what clips you use on your rods. Not the leashes, but the straps with the clip you secure to the rod that you attach your leashes to. Been looking everywhere online and all I find is rubbish. PM'd you on Facebook. Let me know!

I have a PA12 and I'd never go out it swells like that.
We didn't intend to either when we headed out. Pro Angler 14 handled it like a dream. Bit uncomfortable but never felt like I was gunna capsize. 👍👍👍
