Outstanding thank you. After 35 years finally really discovered bass guitar after learning guitar riffs all the while. It's like an new open door and I think it's what I really was meant to play. This is a gem and I'm learning now why some of these bass-driven songs have resonated so well with me.
@@sixmillionaccountssilenced6721 In works or musical themes there may be more than one tonality, 2, 3....they can go from major to minor mode. The key signatures can be put on so as not to be reading with so many alterations in the score or vice versa, to contrast....
@@serafoc I get what you're saying but I don't hear any modulation there. The entire song is in D minor which is F major, that's one flat Bb. The other flat in the signature is Eb which theoretically makes it D phrygian / F mixolydian but there is no part in the song implying these modes. As far as I know if there is any specific note alteration but no key change (chromatics, borrowed chords), the b/# is written next to that specific note, not in the signature. Am I wrong or not?
Hello, I think it cannot be played with 4 strings. You would have to play many notes on a single string...or the only solution is to transpose octaves. Greatings

Why are there 2 flats in the signature? Isn't it in D minor so only one flat Bb?

This is amazing and thank you soooo much! I love it. I am guessing that if I have 4-String bass, I need to drop the E string?

BEAD tuning should be sufficient
