This location was such a blast to puzzle through! I pulled out an sheet of paper and mapped the whole place out just like i did in Dry Dry Desert so many years ago. :')
I absolutely adore this song. I'm so glad I found Bug Fables. I live for every desert level, and the desert area in Bug Fables so far is shaping up to scratch that itch built up over so many years. Thank you so frickin' much. Can we have a 30 minute loop? Pleaaase!
Hey is that a red wall? Why is there a big red wall here? Wait... there was red walls at the entrance too... sand spilling out of... with a giant spade.... OoooOOOoooOOOooo clever XD
I just looked at the map when the game was loading up and was like "what's up with those red walls, talked with my gaming bros, and realized, HEY, this game is taking place in some kids backyard, ISN'T IT!
To me it's the areas with lava that have the best background music, like the Volcano theme from new soup bros wii and Another Medium from Undertale. Although this game doesn't have a lava area, there are already tons of amazing soundtracks.
Hey, my metroidvania skills were put to use in this area! It wasn't very complicated, but it was a nice change compare to chapter 1 and 2. I hope the game does something like this again:D
This are is just like a dessert Big Confusing And annoying But then they open up shortcuts andake it easier to explore Just shows bug fables amazing design
The first time I was here it took me an hour or so because everything was so scattered around and (at the time) locked due to not having particular skills.
i love how we play as BUGS and their desert is a literal sandbox
During chapter 3: huh, this is a pretty cool area
After chapter 4: *I never want to go here ever again*
so much running!!
When you find out you were just in a big sandbox the whole time
now that's sandbox gaming ahahahaHAHAHAHAHahahaaaaa... hergh...

That’s what I would do, just map it out and go any path I haven’t been or completed yet.
That's pretty neat. It's awesome hearing about other players' experiences.
I had to Google a map.
I wish I thought of that, but instead I used my neurons to remember the path. did not work.
I memorized the entire path, actually worked out pretty well for me. Guess I have a good memory lol
I’ve heard of sanbox games but this is ridiculous
Badum tss
I had already fought a couple of bounty bosses before accidentally stumbling upon the False Monarch. Venus' appearance should've alerted me tbh haha

There's a reason the game gives you the dash before you enter here.
So... much... RUNNING

The intro sounds like that classic desert song you'd hear in the any old cartoon to signify how hot it was.
I was literally at the last chapter before I even realized how to get the Tardigrade Shield, I wanted to punch myself in the gonads so bad.
I ALWAYS hate deserts in rpgs but bug fables has the only one I can tolerate
I loved this chapter. Probably my favorite desert chapter in any game so far.
I think it is law that every desert theme in a game is the best.

This reminds me a lot of theme in Super Mario 64's Desert World, as well as a bit of Mario and Luigi series in it.

This song is great. I love this area.

Super Mario 64 vibes
This entire chapter screamed Chapter 2 from the original Paper Mario. Dry dry desert maze and all.
I think it was a love letter to dry dry desert
