I had been looking for someone to help me with my English for long, here you go with such a natural flow, feels like my quest is answered, I am truly in love with the way you speak, thank you so much Lucy, you've been my special tutor!
I think 'I would love to' can also be an alternative to "Yes". A:Would you like to drink something? B:I would love to . A:Can we go for a dinner tonight? B:Yeah, I would love to.
Great video! I often find it hard to get my students to branch out and be comfortable using other expressions than the ones they firstly learned. This video is perfect for them!

Oh my god...I'm really felt in love with your clear pronunciation an accent. what a wonderful teaching skill you have, its really clear and concise the way you teach.

Fun fact: In spanish, at least here in Venezuela, young female students use a lot the phrase "¡Eres un sol!" which is basically the spanish version of "You're a star!". In Viet Nam, we have the word “ ấy “ that can be replaced to almost words in most spoken conversations . Is there any words like this in English ? Thank you so much for a great content, Ms Lucy :*
Forgive me if I'm being stupid, but I don't understand your question. "be replaced to almost words" confuses me. I apologize. I know it's been a year, but what did you mean by this? I would like to know, and maybe I could help (you or someone else).

Oh thank you very much for shedding light on the emotional tone of "fair-enough"! I had this (obviously) wrong feeling it expressed a bit of negativity. I'm glad you taught us! =D
It depends on how you say it Amandine, you are right, sometimes it can have negative connotations? Are you French? If so it's like"Ouaais, bon bah, ok' if said reluctantly
Okay, which is being used In Hebrew also, has many alternatives in Hebrew. Every word that is acceptable as a single word answer for "How are you" is actually acceptable as an alternative for Okay in many cases. And also (which not related to this rule) "no problem".
Hi Lucy good morning, I'm very happy to be in the students of Lucy because your lessons help me a lot can you imagine I'm very proud to be in your learners. sorry for my mistakes 🙂
Well, about "fair enough" - I feel it rather as an agreeing reply to disputant who points out your flaw in conversation, when you first disagree with your adversary, but after explaining you see kind of right in yours adversary logical chain
other alternatives for 'okay' often use in my country is 'ok' or 'oke' or 'okok(read : ok ok) '. okok is an informal words, and we are often use it for chatting with our friends:)
Hey Lucyy... Sometimes i used these words Yep and Nop... (I only know these words!) But when i start watching you're videos i was very exited... And thankyou soo much for this.....❤
My high school English teacher always made us say 'Yes, I will.' and such, instead of just 'Yes.' as she considered it a somewhat incomplete answer to just say yes. And the same goes for 'no'. The other alternatives were good, just no simple yes or no.
It depends...was this a native speaking English class or English as a second language? For a native speaker, this is pedantic and annoying. For English as a second way, it's a way of training the student in the language.
