    You guys are awesome! I’m so glad I found your channel. I would definitely like to understand the battery degradation more and the potentials of selling power back to the grid. I’m going to look more into the code it all. There will most likely need to be revisions to the code in the related article. 😂

      Is it in your home and do you use it to transfer power from the truck to the house as a home standby system?

    What they fail to see is that use of your power storage starts as volentary for the system to be adopted ubiquitously; but then it'll become mandatory without compensation and without personal control of when or how much. You will own nothing and be happy!

      Electric companies give rebates for connecting your panel to them and allowing them to throttle or turn off things. It's voluntary. I expect this to be the same.

    you can buy 15kw battery for $3500 or less wall mounted if you have 3 you could power your house your not going to use a car battery that costs $20,000 to replace also it will be hard to charge as people move into apartments,utilities are going to pay less to buy electricity soon it will be zero,electric power should become cheaper due to wind power or solar but they are building data centers that use huge amounts of energy

    • @MikeHoltNEC
      @MikeHoltNEC  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don't think you can get 15 kW of battery storage with all of the charging and controls for anywhere near $3,500.

      @@MikeHoltNEC You need to do your research. You can purchase 14.4kw of LifePO4 battery system in one unit complete with it's BMS and fire protection for around $3,500. Google Solar Signature. You can also get a powerful all in one system with PV MPPTs, inverter and charger for from $1500 to $5,000 depending upon how much power output you want

      @MikeHoltNEC  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ronbridegroom8428 Please get me the link to a 15 kW system (battery with inverter providing 120V output) for less than $3,500 (as you stated previously). I bet you can't...

    Why all the nonsense??? just cover what is written in the code!! V2g is nothing more than a MEME... should not be addressed in the code it wont be many years until systems like this are installed.

      @@jontopham2742 If you don't see these installed in your daily travels personally that's fine. I make a living off installing battery systems the demand more than double's every year. We now pick and choose the jobs we want (most fun most profitable).
