Folks round here like to rave about Ruth's Chris and Flemings etc for special occasion dining, but for my money, it's Dancing Bear allllll the way. LOVE that place and my fat butt would WALK there from Friendsville for those trout cakes 🤣
That's ok. You are entitled to your convictions. We rarely drink. We show a special cocktail every once in a while. God's word does not forbid a drink. It forbids drinking to drunkeness. We believe that as long as you are doing all things in moderation you are in God's will and not dishonoring Him. That is our convictions. There are a whole lot worse things in the world than having a very very occasional drink of alcohol. Legalistic Christianity as you portray in your comment is what turns people away from Christians. We review food and don’t normally eat all of it. We don’t talk about our journaling or what we do with celebration meals, etc. We appreciate the concern and we do bring a lot home. Brooks almost died last October from a blood clot. We understand and are working on it. Brooks would be happy to talk more about it with you anytime what we do. We just don’t make a big deal out of it. Message him on FB sometime. We love you too and thank you ❤️
