I have a full size Dachshund name Mika. 12 years old. She is a whackacadoddle. She is smart. Funny. Bossy. And has her poppa in her paw. She always get what she want. Sleep beneath the sheets with me and my wife. She has brought so much love and happiness into our household.
No matter where we take her...She loves to ride in the car...she is a rock star.
She is loved by our entire family.

We had a wiener-beagle mix and I can see so much of Clancy in Mac. Clancy slept in a crate at night, and it was a hoot to watch him grab the "blanky" with his teeth and wrap himself up for the night. Love to watch Mac snuggle with his head and his eyes just melt us.

Love these dachshunds. It was my childhood wish to have one...for my 8th birthday, I got to visit the kennel and pick out the dog I wanted. She was black with brown touches, smooth haired. I named her "Pretzel" and had her until I was 18. She was one of the loves of my life.

Often in the morning our dachshund zaps me with her electric-cold-wet nose to get me to move so she can have my pillow all to herself.
