- Sounds amazing in my opinion. will be selling it to get a Two Brothers Full EXhaust system after while. Install was easy, took all of 10-15 mins
hotbodiesracing dot com has the growler for the Ninja 300, and the bracket needed for a proper fit on the exhaust hanger

The Growler on these 250s and 300s seriously makes em sound like high revving Subaru WRXs. It's incredible.

Nice pellet gun i have the same one, and bought it at Canadian tire for $200 CAD+hst. I use it to protect my family here in Canada, because that's all were a loud to own legally.

recently went back to stock to practice my wheelies at night since i work 2nd shift, but will go back to the growler soon!
depends on what you want out of the bike (city riding, highway, track, etc). have you sat on one? try the 650r as well

I love the gun on your table too. Nobody will steal your exhaust! And the stock exhaust chuck to the grass is awesome. :-D My HB mgp came in yesterday, I'm so exshiiiited! Yours was only $130??? Mine was around $275. Some sites sell it for $220, but I couldn't find that good deal.
Just bought a 2013 300. Yoshi and Two Bros came out with their own slip ons, but i like this one for the price and noise level.

don't have mine secured either. there is a bracket you can order, but some people just fabricate their own :)

I got the black and Kawi green 300 with the ABS. I got the HJC CL-16 in kawi green and the icon contra Mil-spec Jacket. That jacket glows in the dark. Specially the white stripes in the shine of headlights. Anyone ever wrecks me and says "I didn't see you" will not finish the sentence.
i like the looks :) the performance can't be too far off for me (personally) to notice a difference.
best inexpensive/sounding slip-on exhaust in my opinion compared to the other guys charging from $400-500+

Any noticeable performance gain with the Growler? That's for the 2012 250R right? But obviously fits the 300.
What is the reasoning for them being there other then a super handy place to store them on your bike for when you need one.

I have a Leo Vince on mine and the sound is ok, I wish could be deeper and somewhat louder...have u heard a Leo Vince? And if so which one is louder? Yours or the Leo?
i've yet to hear a two brothers slip on in person, but many have said it's not as obnoxiously loud as the growler.
Was the red line on your rear wheel stock, or did you add that? if you did, howd you do it, cuz it looks sick!

I'm looking myself for a slip on exhaust. Don't know what to get. This is pretty inexpensive and looks sweet sounds good. But does it get annoying in long rides?

oh yea glocks are amazing ;) and unless i forget, i always carry. The tank cover? i got it from ebay for $1, couldn't beat it and it holds up well. Tank bag? Cyclegear, love it. Pistol is either in the bag or i use a shoulder holster.
couldn't give you an option on which is better, especially since i've only owned the Growler. Check out some forums, lots of posts are found that show results from Dynos w/many exhaust options.

Just got my 300 ninja it came with Yoshimura tuned exhaust and sounds a beast .
Yours is even more agressive sounding .

Mark Joseph not once, but cops around here are pretty slack on stopping motorcycles. almost all bikes here have an aftermarket exhaust.

You're livin in the right neighborhood when you need a gun to open a parcel outside! Then again, those assholes use a lot of tape for their packing, so its good for that too.
Lol jokes aside, I have this exhaust on its way now, and I have heard it's really fucking loud. Is that true, or is it an exaggeration? Some are saying you need ear plugs to ride down the highway, and others that you'll get a ticket pretty quick. What do you think?

sounds good man. I am going to get this for my ninja 300 next month. :) I will say, your phone seemed to pick up the sound much more accurate than others who have recorded the sound of the growler. Are there any other sport bikes that sound similar to this?
you're gonna love it :D this was filed with a gopro though, lol, my phone would have done no justice. small displacement parallel twin motors will have a similar sound

they are both baffleless pipes, and about the same length. I say go with whichever you think looks best :) they should sound about the same

i most certainly did NOT follow the manual. never have on a new bike, i don't know anyone personally that does, never had a problem. there are folks that follow the manual's recommendation and have no problems as well. don't take my word for it though, research it a bit and go with your gut :)
Different strokes for different folks is how i look at it. i'd love a 636 but that's a totally different bike. the 650s that i've riden were very comfortable and give good power when needed. i do a lot of city riding, and went with the 300. But even on the highway i still have a good amount of power and feel comfortable. you just gotta go sit on a bike that interest you. won't do you any good if you like it but it's not comfortable
