With Nordsjaelland, they have an agreement with the Right To Dream Academy, which is partially funded by an Egyptian millionaire. That's why Nordsjaelland have so many incredibly talented West African players come through their ranks, like Simon Adingra, Mohammed Kudus, Lasso Coulibaly, Adamo Nagalo, and Mohamed Diomande. You could absolutely do something like that as part of a create-a-club save
I did a Nordsjaelland career mode (they even commented on my YT Video!) It was probably my favourite career mode ever. Using almost exclusively Youth Squad players from West Africa and Norway while trying to push for European glory. honestly the thing that annoys me the most with fc24 when you see ahtletic bilbao signing someone who isn't eligible to play for the club, I really do hope one day that changes
Same, except I did "Total Communist Football" and signed from only post-Soviet states/communist countries (Germany included) with Checherov as manager. Super fun save.
You could do a whole video on Bilbao, on how to manage the basque policy, like not signing many players directly from rivals Sociedad and also mentioning what youth player names would count as basque names. Also, could mention players that are of different nationality but were born in Bilbao. I was lenient with my signings and allowed a couple of different nationality players to play, pretending these youth prospects were born in Basque Country. Also HUGE edit: Basque heritage doesn’t really count. Higuain for example reportedly has Basque heritage but his signing was ruled out by the club officials. It’s either born in Basque Country (the guy might not even be Spanish!) OR play for some other Basque Country club youth teams. There are not many on fifa: Sociedad, Osasuna, Eibar and Deportivo Alaves. If you find that a good regen has spawned in one of those clubs you can actually sign him.
Dusseldorf in Germany is home to over 40,000 Japanese people living there, they even have a holiday celebrating the two countries, but i always thought a Japan Dusseldorf rebuild would be super fun, they already have class players such as Ao Tanaka, Takashi Uchino, Shinta Appelkamp, and a couple more in the academy
Great video! Love this content! For you journeyman out there a good save is the A-league. They are only allowed 5 foreign players in a squad of 23 players total. Most players are signed to one year deals too so it makes it harder to keep them. But youth contract players don't count so you can add any player who is a not "prospect" to the total. Try win the A-league and win the AFC Champions league. 🎉 Good luck.
@@rockthahouse1 yes this is correct, I forgot to add that 😂 just have to wait for their contracts to expire and become free agents. Players like borello, fornaroli, maclaren are all free after the first season
Clermont Foot could be too easy since a lot of good free agents are not being picked up by the CPU teams. May have to restrict which free agents to sign for your team. Don't want to make the team too overpowered due to free agents.
If you play in the A-League, you can't buy a player from another A-League club. There is also a salary cap, and a foreign player rule. MLS also has a salary cap, and marquee player rule. When playing in the EPL, you could enforce your own "home grown" player rule, and the 25 man squad registration.

I did one in FIFA 23 where i input Wrexham into League Two then created my own team to have them as rivals, with my transfer policy being to only sign English or Welsh players and only scouted in England and Wales for my youth academy too.
I’m obsessed right now with repeating Jock stein’s success 1967 European campaign, which he won 9as far as I understand) with players who were all born within 30 miles of Glasgow.
There is a team in Germany called Türkgücü München that was in FIFA 22, as they were in the German 3rd tier, and this club has a preference towards Turkish German and Turkish players.
Excelsior in The Netherlands is known to rarely, if ever, spend money on incoming transfers. They also often make use of their youth academy, and used to have a working relationship with Feyenoord - they often loaned or 'bought' young talents and out of favor players from them.
Career idea! Choose one of the Big Six teams in the Premier League. Make all the 80 or higher rated players free agents and put the team in the Championship and make them one of the best teams in the world again. Love the videos❤
Did a Stockport County save with only players who have played for or been in the academy of teams in the Greater Manchester area. Makes you do some surprising research on youth players that have been forgotten from City and United, as well as a wealth of players who have been on loan at teams like Bolton and Wigan. You can also do the same type of RTG with Salford but Stockport have the keeper kit in the base game

I am currently doing a "Youth vs. Experience" run where my team cannot have players of or over the age of 25 (have to either sell or release them) and I can only sign players that are 20 or younger. My main goal is to go from League Two to winning the Premier League and Champions League.
My favourite career mode in years was in fifa 23 I signed only players named Traore, starting in league 2, I could keep anyone who started at the club I chose but I could only sign youth players/ regens or real players if their name was Traore I tried it for FC 24 and got sacked after first season cos I was getting 0 youth players come through named Traore, was still enjoyable though
SK Brann in Norway have a pretty strict transfer-philosophy where they have a priority-list of what players should be signed: 1. Local, homegrown players (this includes bringing back former academy players, which there Are quite a lot of) 2. Other Norwegian or Norwegian-speaking players 3. Players from Denmark or sweden, who will be able to communicate with the rest of the squad in their native languages 4. Players from the rest of Europe 5. Rest of the world I think it makes for a fun challenge, as there are few cheap, takented Norwegian players in the game. It could also be fun to try creating a team consisting of only players born in Bergen or Hordaland, which would be every Brann-fans wet dream

Sint Truiden in Belgium like to sign Japanese players due to their current Japanese ownership. It's good to find out interesting facts about a club , and play career mode with this fact in mind. For example, Liverpool have never won the league without a Scottish player in the team. Or mybe Rangers not signing catholic players.

Along with good young black players Palace already has like Eze, Guehi, Olise and Doucoure, I signed players like Moukoko, Geertruida, Barcola, Gavin Bazunu, Amadou Onana, Khephren Thuram and Alejandro Balde. I was trying to do a welsh only swansea. But i changed it to celtic countries. So with england it is only the region of cornwall. And for france its britanny
Hey, is there a mod that not only adds Icons, but has them start with youth academy ratings? E.G Pele is 70 Rated at age 15/16. But potential of 95. Also, I know we get "regens", but how do we ensure their stats grow like the real ratings of the player? not just reach their potential. E.g David Beckham has best freekick, instead of becoming more like someone else.
Of course there were historical ones too like Rangers never signing any Catholic players or South China in Hong Kong only signing players with Chinese ethnicity. Or indeed until about 4 years ago, Queen's Park only playing amateur players.

They've also set up training camps in Hiroshima Tokyo and Fukuoka. The Japanese market is great right now hence Villa's owners has made a partnership with Vissel Kobe.
