My Jimny adventures 28; Sweden Gothenburg, Achipelago north islands

- Close to Gothenburg we have a nice archipelago, the south archipelago, and the north archipelago. Today I visit the three very north islands: Hyppeln, Rörö and Källö-Knippla, or just Knippla.
The islands are quite small and with a limited population. On Hyppeln you can find about 150 souls, but on Rörö and Knippla you might find about 300 people on each island. Even though the islands mainly consist of rock and stone, they still have sandy beaches.
Otherwise, accommodations on the islands are limited, I just find a hostel at Knippla but maybe it exists more alternatives like Airbnb. I´m not sure. But what I do know is that it´s not easy to find parking-spaces, so I don´t recommend taking the car to the islands at summertime. There are only a few restaurants. Always check opening hours on the web.
A mayor part of Rörö is a nature reserve and the environment here is very varied and cattle and horses are living free here.
I end the video with a visit to Hönö Klåva.
You truly know how to share the beauty of Sweden.
Thank you for that comment and that you appreciate it.

Hej Lennart,

Hej, I love this landscape but have never been to the islands. So how much do the ferries cost? Regards from Tyskland ☺️
