Exploring and exceeding the limits of the Jimny!
My name is Lennart Jernberg and I want to share with you my adventures with my two Jimnys. I want to test the limits of moving through and exploring nature with a car and the limits of extreme compact living.
This is me:
Alive since 1955
Lives outside Gothenburg, Sweden
These are my Jimnys:
Suzuki Jimny Cabrio 2003
Owned since 2012
Bought mostly to be a toy around my local environment
The Cabrio has proven to be great for moving through rough terrain
Suzuki Jimny 2020
Owned since 2020
Bought to be built into a camper car for traveling around Scandinavia
With these videos I will show you how I rebuilt my compact camper and take you along on my Jimny adventures!

My Jimny adventures 28; Sweden Gothenburg, Achipelago north islands
มุมมอง 3875 หลายเดือนก่อน
Close to Gothenburg we have a nice archipelago, the south archipelago, and the north archipelago. Today I visit the three very north islands: Hyppeln, Rörö and Källö-Knippla, or just Knippla. The islands are quite small and with a limited population. On Hyppeln you can find about 150 souls, but on Rörö and Knippla you might find about 300 people on each island. Even though the islands mainly co...

Yet another great video Lennart, the mines seemed a bit spooky, loved the scenery, and the morning mist, also liked the car museum, thanks again for a great video 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
@@chriscj8106 thanks for your comment, it’s always encouraging

Very nice. is real a good project jimny off-road
Hi. very nice your you tube video. thanks
Love seeing another fellow Jimny camper! I've been thinking about removing my front seat to give a bit more storage. My LCV version doesn't have back seats, so I just lie the front seat back completely and have foam over the top. It's nice and comfy. What is the part you're connecting at 2:14?
@@RecoveringHermit Thank you for your comment. There is a resistance in the sensor cable that indicates that no one is in the seat.

Another great video Lennart, interesting car graveyard, but some lovely old cars, look forward to the next video 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
thank you so much for your always appreciative comments. it was difficult to capture in a picture the feeling of walking there in nature and seeing these old faithful servants being slowly destroyed.
Sounds like an interesting place, I have saved the location. Thanks for sharing. If you like car graveyards its much more north, but the one in Båstnäs is also pretty special. Frederic

Hi, Very nice bed conversion ! i'm 1,80m would it be ok for me to sleep in the jimny ? thanks
Awesome Jimny Bro...congrats..👍👍
Thanks for the video! It was very interesting to see the sleeping in solution. Do you sleep with the head to the back where the bed is narrower or the other way around?
@@victorpablo4633 thank you for your comment. I always sleep with the head to the front. It gives me more space and I reach the doors and windows easier.

Привет из России!
Thank you 😊
Despite that I had two Gen3 in Sweden I still had serious issues wiring the auxiliary / extra lights / to my Gen4, now in Central America. As most I had troubles understanding why / how / the low beam turns from positive when on to negative when switched to high beam. This still dumbfounds me! But thanks to the help from St Olof Bil in Uppsala I managed to do it despite me living in Central America. They told me exactly what wire goes where on the relay to connect it all correctly. On top of that I added a switch for the relay earth / ground / wire enabling me to chose which extra lights to turn on together with the original high beams. FYI - I have 5 “groups” of extra lights and with this wiring I can choose which group will turn on together with the original high beams. St Olof in Uppsala proves that Suzuki Sweden cares about Jimny owners no matter where they are in the world! ❤️ 30 second video th-cam.com/video/wObiXsGxn7c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2iLH22rJNO7AFK-G If anyone wants to know how to wire a Jimny’s extra lights legally in Sweden shoot me a message and I’ll tell you how to do it.
Congratulations to the new drone. It is already a great improvement. - Looking forward to your 2024 videos. ❤️
