Oh my gosh, I love this peace, it is new to me. The base figure and melody in the opening section reminds me of something Janacek wrote....so other worldly. thank you for posting this well executed performance.

Dear Kit. As ever, thank you for sharing this. I have been spellbound by the music and the sound since you uploaded it. It joins one of my other favourite TH-cam videos - you playing a Bach transcription on Liszt's Bechstein. You have a new Bechstein in St Therese. These are three very different instruments and I am sure that they all have strengths and weaknesses, maybe being better suited to some music more than others. My question to you, is if Bechstein or another company asked you if you if you were interested in a model with this sound scape, would you encourage them? I ask because most piano manufacturers seem to strive for pureness and clarity, claiming to be in conversation with artists. Of course how many artists of today have been able to spend real time with an old Bluthner, Pleyel or Broadwood for example? All the best, James
