I think It has a bit to do with the respect she has earned from the Goblins and even he hobgoblins that didn’t even come from the horn as well as the trolls. But I would tend to agree she has leveled into a commander of some sort as well by now.
@@AbadyDoubleX Not really, it's explained in the novels. Enri has gained experience and levels in leadership without her becoming aware of it. This is even shown when for example she was commanding the goblins while fighting off the beast trying to eat the kid goblin, and giving orders when defending the village against the ogres invasion. Then again, this is all explained in the light novel, tho it's not mentioned which class has Enri unlocked, since Ainz still doesn't know how to check other people's classes and levels unless they're registered under his guild list.

It had more to do with the relationship Enri had with the goblins than her lvl as a leader. This was build up when they pointed out that she knew all their names and everyone else called them goblin. If bloody emperor blew the horn he would probably get what enri got the first time she blew it
If i recall correctly, the auther stated that the three conditions for the goblin army were: - have lvl 2 in the Command skill (when she got the ogres to help her she leveled up) - have a good relationship with the goblins ( she was the only one who called them by their names) - ask the goblins for help (she did that whilst using the horn)' A redcap is lv 43 and with that easily stronger than all humans on the continent (Gazeff, Clementine, Blue Rose members and so on). Btw the redcaps at the end were summoned by Ainz on Lupus request, she actually wanted weaker monsters but because of reasons which would take to long to explain she had to use the redcaps.
I have never seen the author comment on the conditions for activation. Only fan theories. Can you source these ideas, because I have only heard community members talk about these points as theories as to how the horns work.
come on man she can easily destroy red caps first she is lvl 51 while red caps are lvl 43 and in overlord a difference of more than 5 lvl usually means destruction
This was one of my favorite scenes when I was reading the novels. Hail General Enri forever known as "General Enri the Bloody". This bit is never really explained, but her name was breezed over. Future information, but not a story spoiler. The reason for the massive army was because of the side effect of the horn. She lived with the Goblins for so long, getting along with them, her "Commander / General" skill increased... along with the amount of people she could. (It only went up one level) So this time a unit of 5000 was summoned. While I loved the scene people were upset about the CGI... So many people argued over it online but I think it was still an awesome episode.
Re-Estize has a very weak army. These aren't elite guards with the prince. Most of them aren't even real soldiers, they're civilians who've just been given some armor and a spear. The Kingdom heavily relies on sheer numbers to fight off invasions. Barbro is even dumber in the LNs. He thinks once he becomes king he can "make Nabe his." Ignoring the fact that Narberal is _Narberal,_ and would twist his nuts off, the state has no power over the the adventurers which is why they don't participate in national security matters. Isn't it funny how the king and Barbro's future father in law sent him to Carne Village to keep him _away_ from the war, and yet Barbro just had to try flexing on everyone and look what happened. They asked him to collect information, not be a dick.
Fyi one of those red cap goblins camln win a 1v1 against a death knight easily because they were about 10 levels higher than a death knight I believe so having that many red caps were insane for a human army of that level

I like this channel, i subscribed and about the goblin army, from what ive seen and read. The villiage chief gained what ainz would call a title or new class. It allowed her to befriend/order monsters other than the goblins she can summon from the horn. Eg: The ogres and the skinny goblin. Its similar to the abilities people are usually gifted with in this world along with the effect of the items ainz gave out
That horn was initially seen as a trash item in the game, but certain details were likely kept secret due to PvP combat. Lord Ains himself has stated that information is a vital resource. There must be certain requirements that must be met to realize the horn's true potential.
My opinion as to way Enri was able to summon such a powerful army, she has won the respect of the first set of goblins she had. Now before in the game those goblins would have been just npc, but in the new world they are living creatures. Fun fact! Iirc Lupusregina is a sadist but also a cleric (i think?) so she has healing magic. She played around with Prince Barbro for about 30mins before eventually killing him.
as enri meet ainz for the fist time she had only 1 or 2 skillpoints in farming but at this point she even got comander skill ^^ rly my favorite episode. but im still waiting for the next war to see the goblins using their new runecraftweapons^^
Loved the theories regarding the 3 conditions for the horn. I think the 3 conditions would probably be something so unlikely that no one on Yggdrasil ever met the conditions. So possible: 1) rescued a goblin (that kid goblin from the barghest) 2) head of something (she became chief of the town) 3) good relations with previously summoned goblins.
Look at the first episode and it would reveal Ainz handing over two horns. This episode is my personal favorite. A huge laugh at Enri has to deal with, being called chief is bad enough, and now dealing being called Honorable General Enri makes me laugh.
my guess is, it being a 'horn of the goblin general', it would summon an army when the blower holds the talents needed to perform the role of a goblin General. which I believe Enri does. resoundingly. :)
Forgot about the horn haha uh, in yggdrassil nothing was explained to the players and any information that was figured out was up to the players to share it or keep it a secret. That is why, even though Ainz and his guildmates had a lot of information about how things worked, there were a whole lot more things that they didn't know. The conditions for summoning that army is never actually explained but being a good leader and all those skills associated with leadership seem to be what is needed. Or that's what I've thought since I read this part lol I could be wrong.
For a bit of context. In YGGDRASIL, it was a true open world MMORPG, meaning that no context or ingormation was just given out, as a player you had to personally discover all the secrets of the game, so information was worth more than gold in YGGDRASIL, and some items had hidden abolities that were only revealed if you met certain prerequisites. The horn of the Goblin General was a cash shop item that summoned a group of goblins (max. 20) at lvl 8-13. But the horn also had a hidden ability that takes into account that Enri happens to have skills in Sergeant, commander, and General since she became the leader of the goblins and the chief of the village, so when she blew the horn, she activated the special effect of summoning the entire Goblin army (levels 20-30), including the redcap goblins, which are actually stronger than a Death Knight (Death Knights are level 35, redcaps are level 43)
When she used the first horn she got the tittle of Goblin General, which means the more those first goblin fight the stronger she got. When facing an army of 5000 her ability was amplified and it affected her summoning with the second horn. Back in the game its such a low level item that Ainz and every other player didn't knew of that feature.
The reason why Ainz didn't come to the vilage aide this time was because of the war was starting the next day. If he had left and brought some of his soldiers with him or send them there, it who'd have created suspicions to the Empires soldiers. Like this, Why is his majesty leaving the day before the battle starts. Without a doubt, they would have told the Emperor about this who would have fund this very suspicious. As he is looking for ways to use against Ainz.

Yea it was two horns (back in season 1). The second even got appraised by a magic caster in the city when Enri visits the capital a few episodes back. About the goblin army... there are many theories about it, but as Enri becomes a "chief" she gained levels in the General class (which the Strategist calls her). In Yggdrasil there were so many overpowered things that the goblin horn and the class were simply ignored by the players and as Ainz said, considered a trash item. Redcaps are actually stronger than Death Knights. Also, about what Lupis did to the prince... in the novel it's said she tortured him for 30 minutes then allowed him to die. On how, she has healing powers (she heals Nphirea some episodes ago), so she simply tortured the crap out of him, healed him back to full and repeated the cycle over and over. Considering how sadistic she is, 30 minutes was actually pretty light on the prince haha. If you guys can, whatch later the Ple Ple Pleiades mini-episodes, it tells more about Nazarick and specifically the maids. Lupis does the "hurt them, heal them and repeat" with Clementine.
A redcap is a mythical goblin-like creature from Scotland, that allegedly attacks travellers to dye his hat red with their blood. It's too strong to fight, but you can stun it by reciting bible verses, and run away :P
My theory is that it's because she has general class. In Ygdrassil you'd probably need to be quite a high level before becoming a general, and by that time you would've already forgotten about a low level horn. But new world people don't need to meet prestige class requirements - they just level up in whatever they do.
Those goblin redcaps are lvl 60 I believe, but even if I'm wrong, they are the highest leveled of the goblins that appeared under General Enri's summon. Lupusregina used a group of them as well so that shows their value. Also, it goes hard for the ending of the season. Looking forward to your reactions. :D
It has not been really explain, but at this time Enri had gained ranks in 2 skills called Goblin Sergeant and Goblin General which are pretty worthless skills in Yggdrasil. But Maruyama has hinted that it was 2 skills that was needed to activate the horns hidden ability to summon the Goblin army. The funny thing is that no player of Yggdrasil ever realized it or activated the hidden ability, Enri is the first to ever be able to use the horn to it´s fullest potential. Also, Enri now has command over the 3rd strongest army in the whole continent, the army possess lots of leveled NPC´s: The weakest of the Goblins in the Goblin army is as strong as the strongest of the old Goblins, their lv is unknown but its suggested that their LV is between 12-40, except for the Thirteen Redcaps that are at LV 43(which is 15 LV´s stronger than Gazef Strongoff). While the kingdoms drafted soldiers are very weak, their lv is about 2-7(and that is being generous). Evil Eye is LV is 51(55) while the weakest of the Pleadies Battle Maids LV is 46, Ainz posses a libarary in Nazarick that can summon Redcaps for coin which is the ones that slaughtered the prince and his remaining soldiers(And according to the myth of Redcaps they love to torture people)
Late Comment Crew: People speculate about commander levels or having affinity to goblings but thousands of people would play goblin (demihuman race) and have commander ranks in Yggdrassil. My guess it's about leading the first gobling troupe through multiple fights is the key as well as the commonly speculated conditions. Kepping low level mobs like that alive in a game would be a true hassle.
This episode made it so 2 of the strongest armies known work under ainz and he is working with the third strongest army the empire... the kingdom is 4th
Slane Theocracy is the second with Enri falling into the 3rd slot just above the empire. The kingdom only has conscripted soldiers so they automatically get last by default.
A red cap is weaker than the undead knights that ainz uses. If you want more info I watch Chibi reviews after every episode and he helps explain the details that arent explained also next episode is SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT
at the end lupisregina say solly, she was talking about solution, the maid thats with sebas, shes also a slime, now for the parts the anime fucked up, god i hate when they do this, so when the goblin army stated there groups and what they are, there was a single goblin in each group that voiced, we are the goblin paladin knight corp that serves the honorable general enri this goblin was a much better geared and a bit bigger then the rest to show how proud he was to lead that group he stated his command, as you saw there was no leader other then the goblin strategist, also in the light novel theres was a medical corp who build a tent and took all the injured goblins and villagers to heal them, the drummers are the bard corp, they buff the army, theres more to this episode but i dont know if season 4 will put that part in so i wont say.
While the next episodes is the highpoint for most, personally I liked this episode better, though the novels did it better. Regarding the Horns, i'm pretty sure when Ainz gave them to her we could see the 2 horns at the same time.

I dunno... Jaldaboth's demi-human army attacking the Holy Kingdom was a 100,000 strong (and Demi-humans are much stronger than humans). Plus, we don't know details of the Beastmen attacking the Dragon Queen.

Evileye is estimated about lv 50, so she's not a perfect win against a redcap, but she's got roughly a 70% chance of winning against a redcap.
Does Enri have 13 red caps working under her now? This number does not include the redcaps summoned by ainz at the end of the episode

Yeah as someone who is in college building characters in CG for films and handling VFX the CGI is not that great, but anywho the episode is amazing!

Loved the theories regarding the 3 conditions for the horn. I think the 3 conditions would probably be something so unlikely that no one on Yggdrasil ever met the conditions. So possible: 1) rescued a goblin (that kid goblin from the barghest) 2) head of something (she became chief of the town) 3) good relations with previously summoned goblins.
Look at the first episode and it would reveal Ainz handing over two horns. This episode is my personal favorite. A huge laugh at Enri has to deal with, being called chief is bad enough, and now dealing being called Honorable General Enri makes me laugh.
my guess is, it being a 'horn of the goblin general', it would summon an army when the blower holds the talents needed to perform the role of a goblin General. which I believe Enri does. resoundingly. :)

Forgot about the horn haha uh, in yggdrassil nothing was explained to the players and any information that was figured out was up to the players to share it or keep it a secret. That is why, even though Ainz and his guildmates had a lot of information about how things worked, there were a whole lot more things that they didn't know.
The conditions for summoning that army is never actually explained but being a good leader and all those skills associated with leadership seem to be what is needed. Or that's what I've thought since I read this part lol I could be wrong.
For a bit of context. In YGGDRASIL, it was a true open world MMORPG, meaning that no context or ingormation was just given out, as a player you had to personally discover all the secrets of the game, so information was worth more than gold in YGGDRASIL, and some items had hidden abolities that were only revealed if you met certain prerequisites. The horn of the Goblin General was a cash shop item that summoned a group of goblins (max. 20) at lvl 8-13. But the horn also had a hidden ability that takes into account that Enri happens to have skills in Sergeant, commander, and General since she became the leader of the goblins and the chief of the village, so when she blew the horn, she activated the special effect of summoning the entire Goblin army (levels 20-30), including the redcap goblins, which are actually stronger than a Death Knight (Death Knights are level 35, redcaps are level 43)
That so many goblin army I think we are going to have a Goblin Country or Kingdom in the next season.. :> xD

When she used the first horn she got the tittle of Goblin General, which means the more those first goblin fight the stronger she got. When facing an army of 5000 her ability was amplified and it affected her summoning with the second horn. Back in the game its such a low level item that Ainz and every other player didn't knew of that feature.

The reason why Ainz didn't come to the vilage aide this time was because of the war was starting the next day. If he had left and brought some of his soldiers with him or send them there, it who'd have created suspicions to the Empires soldiers. Like this, Why is his majesty leaving the day before the battle starts. Without a doubt, they would have told the Emperor about this who would have fund this very suspicious. As he is looking for ways to use against Ainz.

Yea it was two horns (back in season 1). The second even got appraised by a magic caster in the city when Enri visits the capital a few episodes back.
About the goblin army... there are many theories about it, but as Enri becomes a "chief" she gained levels in the General class (which the Strategist calls her). In Yggdrasil there were so many overpowered things that the goblin horn and the class were simply ignored by the players and as Ainz said, considered a trash item.
Redcaps are actually stronger than Death Knights.
Also, about what Lupis did to the prince... in the novel it's said she tortured him for 30 minutes then allowed him to die. On how, she has healing powers (she heals Nphirea some episodes ago), so she simply tortured the crap out of him, healed him back to full and repeated the cycle over and over. Considering how sadistic she is, 30 minutes was actually pretty light on the prince haha.
If you guys can, whatch later the Ple Ple Pleiades mini-episodes, it tells more about Nazarick and specifically the maids. Lupis does the "hurt them, heal them and repeat" with Clementine.

My theory is that it's because she has general class. In Ygdrassil you'd probably need to be quite a high level before becoming a general, and by that time you would've already forgotten about a low level horn. But new world people don't need to meet prestige class requirements - they just level up in whatever they do.
Those goblin redcaps are lvl 60 I believe, but even if I'm wrong, they are the highest leveled of the goblins that appeared under General Enri's summon. Lupusregina used a group of them as well so that shows their value.
Also, it goes hard for the ending of the season. Looking forward to your reactions.

It has not been really explain, but at this time Enri had gained ranks in 2 skills called Goblin Sergeant and Goblin General which are pretty worthless skills in Yggdrasil. But Maruyama has hinted that it was 2 skills that was needed to activate the horns hidden ability to summon the Goblin army. The funny thing is that no player of Yggdrasil ever realized it or activated the hidden ability, Enri is the first to ever be able to use the horn to it´s fullest potential.
Also, Enri now has command over the 3rd strongest army in the whole continent, the army possess lots of leveled NPC´s:
The weakest of the Goblins in the Goblin army is as strong as the strongest of the old Goblins, their lv is unknown but its suggested that their LV is between 12-40, except for the Thirteen Redcaps that are at LV 43(which is 15 LV´s stronger than Gazef Strongoff). While the kingdoms drafted soldiers are very weak, their lv is about 2-7(and that is being generous).
Evil Eye is LV is 51(55) while the weakest of the Pleadies Battle Maids LV is 46, Ainz posses a libarary in Nazarick that can summon Redcaps for coin which is the ones that slaughtered the prince and his remaining soldiers(And according to the myth of Redcaps they love to torture people)

People speculate about commander levels or having affinity to goblings but thousands of people would play goblin (demihuman race) and have commander ranks in Yggdrassil.
My guess it's about leading the first gobling troupe through multiple fights is the key as well as the commonly speculated conditions. Kepping low level mobs like that alive in a game would be a true hassle.
This episode made it so 2 of the strongest armies known work under ainz and he is working with the third strongest army the empire... the kingdom is 4th
Slane Theocracy is the second with Enri falling into the 3rd slot just above the empire. The kingdom only has conscripted soldiers so they automatically get last by default.
Re-Estize Kingdom is likely the weakest human country in the entire series.

at the end lupisregina say solly, she was talking about solution, the maid thats with sebas, shes also a slime, now for the parts the anime fucked up, god i hate when they do this, so when the goblin army stated there groups and what they are, there was a single goblin in each group that voiced, we are the goblin paladin knight corp that serves the honorable general enri this goblin was a much better geared and a bit bigger then the rest to show how proud he was to lead that group he stated his command, as you saw there was no leader other then the goblin strategist, also in the light novel theres was a medical corp who build a tent and took all the injured goblins and villagers to heal them, the drummers are the bard corp, they buff the army, theres more to this episode but i dont know if season 4 will put that part in so i wont say.

The red caps are actually stronger than the death knights. If I remember right death knights are level 38 and red caps are 43
