Kendrick has an interview where he speaks about the way he makes his music and his video’s- Everything has a meaning. I think you guys should watch it. Kendrick fans didn’t just reach for no reason 🤦🏾♀️ Kendrick himself stated he does things with loads of different meanings and puts 80% of the song together before he puts it in the booth. He won a Pulitzer Prize for a reason.
This is the first time in the hip-hop history I've heard term "dragging" or "milking" the beef. Often beefs span for years or even decades. Maybe it's because Kendrick was so dominant, which we haven't witnessed before or people are extremely unaware how this works.
Exactly. Nonsense because fans can’t handle the loss. If Kendrick really wanted to take it there, it could be worse. He did the bare basics as an artist and hardly marketed
Ikr, this song has only been out for about 2 months. 2Pac performed ”Hit’me up” at HOB with his group and label, and dropped a video, nobody was complaining that he was ”dragging it”. This generation just got so used to simplistic, microwave music, that offered no more than just a vibe. It's put out hot and fast, then burns out just as fast because it's lacking in substance and replay value. This was the somewhat normal lifecycle of a hit record, when listeners still had attention spans. Big artists like Beyonce were not even making videos for album singles anymore, well before this.
Right 😂 if anything drake was milking it😂😂 Kendrick only dropped music and that’s what u call a rap beef. Drake was posting slick shots and bowling with the name “69 God” tryna troll. Anything out of music is definitely milking it and drake did that
Whitney is an intelligent woman if it was another woman she would have been on social media ranting about Drake mentioning her , she kept her composure thats a rare woman right there
Agreed Drake fans took Whitney not entertaining his allegations on social media or her not smiling in some photos as grounds for “oh he’s beating on her guys”. Like okay what is that supposed to mean because even woman who smile and laugh a lot are abused as well. Kendrick denied the allegations in 2013 when a random blogger stated the same claims Drake did (so we can’t say he didn’t address it already because he has he doesn’t need to say it again;free will) Also apparently Whitney and her family are close with her especially her brother who likes Kendrick you think he would let K-Dot put his hands on his sister or not say anything publicly about it.
Pops: complete agree. This is a reaction. Not a breakdown. So your point is completely valid. But I also saw a lot of comments pointing out that Son was on his phone for a majority of the time. It’s one thing to be able to multitask or quickly glance at the phone. But I would have to say, the people are here for a reaction of the video, not of what his thumbnail is gonna be. Just some constructive criticism. Keep doing your thing guys!

Also, the door knock at the beginning of the video is tied to the walk off dance at the end of the third verse in the video.
