Question- I want to get one of these phones to receive text messages from web sites that basically authenticate my account so I can log in. (Such as my bank). How good are these phones with regards to receive messages? Will I get a US based phone number in order to receive these messages?
Probably not. Maybe the very tippy top of the Elite in the IT department investigated them but they haven't been used. They peobably use their own satellite network if they have one.
NO, dont listen him! 9555, it DOESN'T support charging via USB-port, 9575 DOES! Don’t attempt to charge a 9555 with a mobile phone or tablet charger via USB-port. That port on 9555, it is only for data/serial connection and firmware updates!
@@islesanctum833 your the only person I've seen that thinks it's cheap. You must have lots of disposable income to throw away at a phone that now costs $65 a month for 10 minutes 1.49 a min for additional. There's no reason any phone service should be this expensive.
get over the basic phone from the 90's. You don't buy one for looks, what you want is access. This will work where your pretty blinged-up iphone with all its cameras will not. Been using one for years in numerous countries and it has never failed me.
The only Dumb Phone that makes sense in 2024 and beyond. Letting the days of "I can't get a signal" be a thing of the past. It's expensive and low battery capacity can be overlooked for strong reception, even in North and south Pole! The phone u want in an emergency situation. I would have 1 in a car
Maybe in another year maybe cheaper who knows600 months as ridiculous Not including some of the Price on by the minute in places No I don't know I'm just going to buy some of the compliments that you all have said Comments
Takes me back to the 90's
Thats what I said C Glenn!
Glad I was trained by my Nokias some 25 yrs ago.
This looks completely alien to Genz, unlikely we Generation Nokia
@@Andenet247 No it don't. Fad loser.

Satellite Phone Store says their rental is beaten up. Should I rent from someone else?

Or get the phone and, eco flow power station and solar panel in the Off the Grid Bundle Free right now and $120/mo for 2 years.
@@SHOzFSThow does That help with or negate the cost?
do they work in North Korea (D.P.R.K.?)
It works everywhere. Just be careful not to get killed or jailed if you use it North Korea or India.
I would be curious to know if anyone has used one of these devices in North Korea, D.P.R.K.?

Actually not expensive at all. Just think of the cost of putting a single new satellite in space.
Right well you don’t use it to call your mother every weekend. You use it to call for help when you break your leg in the mountains.
Love your ta moko it looks stunning

Holy fuck....My 2 year old can form a more concise statement. What in the actual fuck are you saying?
Inner national charger 🤦♂️
Looks like a Nokia 232 or similar phone.
