You are sure trusting, I wud be under that car checking every fastener before I would drive it around the pits. You place a lot of faith in the work of others, I have seen and experienced bad things before I learned to check everything. Had rear ends come apart when power was applied, I will check everything before driving a bicycle.
I see a lot of drag racers get themselves in trouble roll out of the throttle and then jam it back down. only to get themselves in worse trouble. I don’t get it.. .. i’m one of these guys that believes if you’re in trouble and you catch it one time, don’t go back for more punishment only to maybe wreck on the second time .I’m a dirt track sprint car owner driver . I know. Chevy guys can be so closed minded. Salas won the 2024 drag week with a basically factory coyote against a promod Chevy of Lutz. Factory Coyote block, crankshaft, ported heads. And I see SBF and BBF winning all the time. And now the new Ford Godzilla engine is a beast. 650hp and 630 ft lbs of torque for under $5K NA vs a NA 408 Ls 3 making 630hp and 570 ft lbs of torque for $12K

All I know is I got a 67 mustang and I see a lot of old mustangs add Fox body is running Fords and running 4.50 to 5.50 in the 1/8 and 7.20 and up obviously, in the quarter so I don't know what they're talking about my Ford runs great and it hauls ass, just got to have someone who knows what they're doing and knows how to tune them no I remember Nick used to have a G-Body Malibu I think it was a 2016 drag week I don't know if it ran sevens or eighths let's stick to the ls don't talk s*** about Fords

They used that bolt with the serenade cuts in it was used to cut threads in the block because they didn’t have a tap so they made their own

That bolt in the side of the block is where someone blocked off the oil filter adapter. I have one and it’s way nicer than that and my car is wayyy shittier.
Ps can you put a Ford motor in a Mustang when you want to run fast

Put some timing in it , it start better without killing the starter but you can buy starters with ease. To give you an idea , put around timing will be to 2500 rpm , then start your race timing after that.
