@@Naxhus2 T90 and Viper moved to facebook october 2021 I think. Hera mentioned facebook offered him a 2 year contract so if it was similar deal for T90/Viper they might return to twitch soon hopefully🙂

I'm not a big stream watcher so my insight into which is the better platform is 0, but if FB are giving him the money to run titans-like tournaments then I'm generally fine with the way things are. I do know that people have gone away from Twitch and then gone back so that has to say something, right?

Daut's approach to castles is a great example of what high level AOE2 play is all about. Once you master unit control, eco management, build orders, timings, etc, what Age2 is all about is using pressure to control the game. Daut knows that a failed castle is not necessarily a setback and unlike most players, he's not afraid to throw away stone to control the game. He invested 1300 stone to effectively DICTATE to Kasva where his first two castles would be placed. Yes, Daut failed to complete those first two castles, but he GAINED the opportunity to apply pressure to the eastern side of Kasva's base because Kasva was forced to place both his castles on the western side of his base. It also meant that Daut's base was safe from raids and castle drops because Kasva was forced to play defensively.
I'm sure any of your fans feel the same way, none of us know each other but we're linked in our love for the game, and the passion you bring to it. For the past three years T90 has been a regular part of my weeks, we all have a decent sense of who you are and we love sharing the experience that is AOE2. Thanks for doing what you do bro, I'm born in 1993 and AOE had huge nostalgia for me, liked it so much as a kid that I played AOE2 HD version as soon as it came out and logged a nice 2k hours on it, then Definitive came out and as soon as I could afford it I made the purchase and have since added almost 2k again, easily my favourite game in the world, it's like chess on steroids with the youthful knights/medieval game tone to it.
It was an amazing game T90! You earned it! It takes a lot of faith to bring an old game back to the scene, not many could have done it like you have done it; well done!!

I feel like the villagers know what's about to happen when they get assigned to build that castle. Maybe they give some rousing speech on how if one of us lives to complete this task we win the day.

Yes! T90 says here he has been in and come average 6th on every single major tournament for 23 years! I don’t think TheViper is being ironic the way he talks about Daut being “Lord”. I suppose Daut has superb strategies that make up for his lack of speed in clicks per minutes 😊

Arabia as the default aoe2 map needs to try to offer a good balance between aggresive and defensive strats. I think the place it's at now is good. The smaller woodlines combined with the wall price hike and building armour nerfs really made it a bit too crazy open. Fine for some maps but not the default one.

The arabia gen is fine if it's more closed or more open, what's annoying is when my opponent gets two woodline behind his tc and one in front and you get the open gen where you don't have a woodline for a mile. Totally imbalanced when he can play arena and im playing socotra.
we need tree nothing. one tree in the middle of the map with 1 million wood on 8 player diplo. it would make for some wild games with dark age fighting over the tree
