- I attempt for the first time to replace my 2013 W204 Mercedes wing mirror covers with New black covers and dynamic indicators.
How easy is it really ?

Im SOO nervous when I tried to take my cover off I kept thinking I will break it....After watching, Maybe I'll try again? But you are 100% right, all the videos make it look like they walk up to it and it magically comes up without effort. Glad to know its not just me that thinks that a bogus claim lol. Hi Patrick, a lot of these youtubers must go through the process first, which will make it easier knowing how and once removed it will losen a little , as you can see it is hard to get off but take the bull by the horns and go for it! best of luck.....mrix

I'm about to change the puddle lights on my 2010 E350 and I tried to get the cover off. I thought I was doing something wrong. I was afraid I was going to break the cover. Thanks for your honesty. I will try again with a little more patience.

@mrix I've tried a few more times. I just gave up. I really feel that if I put more effort into it, I will surely break it. It's just not worth all that. I'm going to let this rest for a while and try once again. When I'm in the right frame of mind. I'm really enjoying your videos.

Hi Adil, I have seen so many videos showing how easy it is, I think basically because they have tried and removed the covers many times to see how easiest to do it but the more you remove anything the easier and looser it becomes, as you can see by my attempts its not as easy as you may think, all the very best of luck with your cover replacements, mrix

Hi, yes there are so many videos showing how easy it is to remove these covers but I am sure they have removed them already prior to their video, once you have removed them its far easier but if they have never been removed like on mine you can see its a struggle.... all the very best....mrix

Hi Divina A, I must admit the job was becoming far more difficult than first thought and the chance of breaking the mirror glass was causing me quite some anxiety ha ha, thanks mrix
u can just take the mirror parts off pry from outside, they will pop off. Then remove cover and when cover is back on just pop the mirror back.

Hi, I purchased the black covers separate, was good value really, I think the covers and strobe indicator were only about £40 for everything.. to this day I have never had a issue with them and still working fine.... mrix

Prefer the original indicators
Personally I prefer the strobe effect but at the end of the days its always going to be personal preference..... mrix
Stick on ones much easier not all that fafe
Yes that is a option but as I changed for strobe indicators I was required to completely remove them anyway... mrix
