Exactly exactly, no need to be extra I hate seeing that stuff where someone will quick peek a corner 17 times when they enemy ISN'T looking or ready for them, they don't realize it makes a ton of noise on top of it wasting time (and just making it harder to aim)
i personally believe full games are way more entertaining and educational than only clips of when you do good. I wouldn’t say i’m a hard stuck play but i’m still improving, leagues beyond what i was a couple of seasons ago and i recently wanted to know what the champion perspective was on the platform i play since whenever i see a pc player in a champion lobby i felt like it never really properly reflect on the console experience. Thank you for uploading the games publicly, it really means a lot man. Props

Besides having a consistent warm-up I'd say preplaced drones and a plan for your atttacks before the round starts. I go over it all the time but it's definitely the most important thing. Holding power spots on/near site is important too for defense

I got a question illum. When i try to recoil control the f2, it gets stuck in an area and if i try to pull down the exponential curve hits. If i raise my sense i just overadjust for every other gun😮
Yeah the F2 is definitely one of the hardest guns in the game vertically, especially with the high fire rate. Just gotta keep on practicing, but don't overadjust your sens for it so you feel off with every other gun

nice gameplay definitely.. i’ve always wondered why you always move your right thumbstick in circles? i started doing it also because when the game would start my right stick would feel like it would have a delay so i would move it to cancel it.
Oh yeah that delay thing happened to me before too when I was on standard controller and had it plugged in, I'd recommend going wireless or there's no way to get rid of it unfortunately. I just do that to warm my thumbs up though feel like it helps me

Just figured it would decent video to end the year off, could be relatively easy if you save the best clips as you make the videos. Just an idea, keep you the good work.
Just gotta keep a good mental up for the next round really, I'll obviously still get annoyed at things as ALL siege players do (it's siege). But after the round you gotta move past it to play to your max in the following rounds and games. I go into solo queue not expecting to win as well knowing my teammates could very well suck, makes the wins more rewarding

I can't say since I've never tried the gamesir but I really loved the spectra infinity so I'd recommend it, might not be for everyone but I've just gotten used to it now
I’ve been trying to mirror your gun playstyle quite alot. Since people get very complacent and impatient on the peaks these days, holding for slightly longer usually sees me getting more kills than regular and i’ve seen major improvements with it. I also think deimos is quite OP with a stack since he can just yellow ping the players position and clear out roamers. Glad my main operator on defense mute can counter him nicely though 😅
Hey ilum, you probly don't remember me but last season I couldn't get past silver. I found the problem and I was able to solve it. I played like it was cod and I couldn't hit headshots. I found a better sens and now I'm gold 2 and I feel like I can definitely hit plat. Love your content and can't wait to say I was here from the start
I don't know if you're going to see this but why shouldn't we barricade site doors? I'm gold right now and I've never heard anyone to not barricade site doors
Yeah it's best not to usually because then you trap roamers and people close to site out of it, and if you're all on site then you're giving the other team the map for free, which will pinch you and make it harder to win. Just best to extend out farther and you have more flexibility to move around. It still is good to barricade certain doors though on an extension for example, kind of like I did there on Nighthaven up top!
Haven't played with a stack in quite a good bit of time at this point, so no point, I play full champ stacks on it every time. Might use it for my duoQ series later this season though Also appreciate it!
I got you! And for lasers I'd recommend them on attack since you're the one pushing in anyways and the defense most the time already knows you're there. Then on defense no lasers so they don't give your position away. Feel like that's a good way to go about them
I’ve played more Ranked this season than any other season and I was one win away from Platinum V - then loss 12 straight and am hard locked in Gold right now. I feel like the more I play the worse I get. My KD went from 1.3 to .9 and my win rate dropped down to 1.2. Please help me - any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
@@that1voodooguy Sometimes a break can do wonders if you feel like you've hit a wall or can't catch a break in ranked, so I'd definitely consider it! Also since you had a really good win rate before the losing streak the matchmaking probably had you against higher ranks on your hidden MMR. Which could explain some of the regression, I'd say just keep trying to improve rather than worry about rank since it's stuck anyway, and it'll go back up! Winning streaks also help a lot with RP over time
@ilumahsoka Thanks! There’s still some matches where I go 11-2.. and then go 0-5 the next. I just seem to be dying in stupid ways, getting blindsided by an attacker rushing site while I’m still setting up and my team has their thumbs up their asses, spawn peaked, etc. The frustrating part is when I have someone on my team go 10-4, I’m 0-5, and we lose because I didn’t help much at all.
I honestly think mav is the best opp to play on night haven, love spawning heli and making a tiny hole while repelled on big breach. Free kill every time.
That's a nice little strat there, maverick is underrated at this point I feel like. If your goal is to get basement breaches too he can mav trick them both pretty safely if you have a teammate to buck/breach it after and watch the holes
Just takes time, make sure to also hit up the free for alls. Best way to warm-up and also practice since it's real players. Also they removed impacts from it this season so it's really nice
Fentir nerf is concirmed in reveal. The nerf is that he will lose one mine and one activation code. The ones that aren't activated with a code are now able to be shot and destroyed but not with one shot, have to hit em' quite a bit.

In soloQ the best are probably ops like Buck/Iana/Dokk. All 3 of them technically have stuns and an explosive with the gonne-6. But also good abilities for solo especially dokk and Iana with all the info
Hey ilum I have a question so I find myself constantly frustrated when I solo queue when I encounter teammates who just don’t seem to know what they’re doing so what’s something that helps you not become frustrated when and if you encounter teammates like that?
Just have to ignore them simple as that, I know it can be hard but at the end of the day it's random people on the Internet, it happens. Move onto the next and try to improve yourself and think what you can do better personally.

Unfortunately that's how hidden MMR can be, your RP and rank has nothing to do with what matchmaking you go up against. It's where the game thinks you should be at. The good part is you'll be rewarded more for winning against higher ranks and punished less, both for longer periods than if you were playing low hidden MMR
Target drills, shooting range, and free for alls, free for alls are definitely the best since you're playing real players. Don't play passive in it though, try to play super aggro and challenge everything, you'll always respawn if you die anyways. And I'd recommend these before you play as a good warm-up routine

You just need to take breaks it's draining for anyone to play that long competitively you need to remember you're not a pro just yet! It's fine to take breaks hop on arcade play some roulette or something to give your brain a rest
Yeah good advice there from trickz, I never play siege for more than a few hours mostly at a time, if that. Always good to come into it with a fresh mind!

in a previous video he suggested to go into the last section of shooting range and put the time to whatever you prefer and enable infinite ammo. don’t let off the trigger and try to keep the sight straight and get the muscle memory.

Kinda of a weird question but on border when attacking 2nd floor I never really know who to choose as an attacker
I prefer Dokk and usually try to find a gap with no util and I can do some roam hunting if they're roaming hard below

Shooting range with infinite ammo on, really helps when you can just spray it and never have to reload. Gets the muscle memory down well

In soloQ the best are probably ops like Buck/Iana/Dokk. All 3 of them technically have stuns and an explosive with the gonne-6. But also good abilities for solo especially dokk and Iana with all the info
Then defense definitely traps or barb or prox so like Fenrir/Lesion/Wamai/Goyo, stuff like that
Hey ilum I have a question so I find myself constantly frustrated when I solo queue when I encounter teammates who just don’t seem to know what they’re doing so what’s something that helps you not become frustrated when and if you encounter teammates like that?
Just have to ignore them simple as that, I know it can be hard but at the end of the day it's random people on the Internet, it happens. Move onto the next and try to improve yourself and think what you can do better personally.

Anyone know why I, as someone who’s never even hit emerald, keep going up against champs?
Unfortunately that's how hidden MMR can be, your RP and rank has nothing to do with what matchmaking you go up against. It's where the game thinks you should be at. The good part is you'll be rewarded more for winning against higher ranks and punished less, both for longer periods than if you were playing low hidden MMR
Any tips on getting better at aim and recoil control
Target drills, shooting range, and free for alls, free for alls are definitely the best since you're playing real players. Don't play passive in it though, try to play super aggro and challenge everything, you'll always respawn if you die anyways. And I'd recommend these before you play as a good warm-up routine

Just one thing i’m silver 2 currently with a 1.2kd and i’m trying to hit plat this season. I hop on play good like afternoon-evening but then as soon as it gets to night time(9pm+) i start playing awful. Do you know how i could fix this?
You just need to take breaks it's draining for anyone to play that long competitively you need to remember you're not a pro just yet! It's fine to take breaks hop on arcade play some roulette or something to give your brain a rest

I play till I feel I need to stop I feel if not I’ll just be throwing matches and that would be bad for team mates and your rank so yeah is really great advice this it does get very tiresome seige takes a lot of thinking and planning etc

Any tips on how to control the smg12 recoil?
in a previous video he suggested to go into the last section of shooting range and put the time to whatever you prefer and enable infinite ammo. don’t let off the trigger and try to keep the sight straight and get the muscle memory.
