You need to obtain Automaton Charm Oil, that could be done with help of Victor Frankenstein in Desert Astrolabe Realm
After you have it then just deliver to Nellie Bly in Desert Herbarium Realm
ATTENTION!!! For me the actual Automaton Charm Oil was INSIDE the nearby Automaton Chest (vertical standing stone poles) that was AFTER I handed over the offering to Bishop - Ritual Seed Nursery - probably pawns picked it up after the Bishop dropped it on the ground

The quest says it has to be a Fabled Automaton Bishop. Where do you find the FABLED one? I have 2 bottles of the "normal" oil, not the snapdragon kind, and Nelly says no.
I've found three different Automaton Bishops now, but none of them will send out the blue swirl for me to offer anything. I even make sure I'm approaching them in a non-hostile manner.
What am I doing wrong?
Did you found bishop in gloom desert realm?
No, that was Desert Astrolabe Realm Victor's location - it is there also, he mentions that in the dialog as well as it is stated in the quest description
@@ZorgFS Do you know if it spawns in some place specific? I can't find it!
@@JackVanSmitharound the map just any other named boss - use your magnifying glass , or try other realms which are in the quest list if that one doesn't spawn it for you
So I'm in Astrolabe Desert too but whenever I approach a Bishop, it deploys a perimeter trap bombs instead of an offering box then it just roams around. Any tips?
I'm having the same issue. That, or they don't do anything at all and ignore me. Were you able to figure it out?
Yeah, to ensure everything's in order, I went back to Victor F. (Thinking it will refresh the quest priorities) then made sure I wasn't tracking other quests aside from the automaton, then for some reason, it worked! It stopped in front of me then made an altar for the offering
