This is a staple for our family vacations. I cry almost every time I first hear them sing. Disney is such an amazing place inside and out.
Gosh darn it, I seriously can't watch this without tearing up.
Just phenomenal.
I was at Disney World all of last week and it was so good my family and I saw the show twice. It's been one of my favorite attractions for years. This reminds you of just how great Disney is.
The highest energy show in the parks at Disney World. Everyone in the audience always sings all the songs. Absolutely fantastic.
I saw this show for the first time at the age of 24. I got chills after the the choir comes in after the first line of "Circle of Life." Incredible.
I am telling you, every time she flies during "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," I cry! Every single time.
It's amazing how they can perform this 4 times a day, every day and still do it with so much energy. I've seen it 3 times and they were always awesome.
Best show disney ever made. The vocals are incredible, the athletes are fantastic, the dancers are amazing... if this ever goes away it will be a sad sad day
I've seen both this and the broadway production of The Lion King. This is nearly as good! Both amazing shows!
Back in 03' when I was little, I was able to go on to the floor with most of the others, made me cry when I saw the pictures. I wish I could be able to go back and do it again, no deloreans yet :/
I was an elephant and I did the hand jive part in the beginning too! :) I love this show!
I've seen this show at Walt Disney World around 15 times which is kind of a lot when you live around a thousand miles away. But it's worth the traveling in the end. The Festival of the Lion King is honestly one of the best shows Disney has. It amazing. Then again in my opinion everything at Disney is. :-)
Saw this back in summer 2009!! Year I graduated High School!! Our High School Choir went to WDW to perform at Downtown Disney, and we were there a whole week with park hoppers and tickets to all the parks!! Teacher required us to all go as one big group to 1 musical, and we went to see Festival of Lion King!!!!! Was so happy, and pretty sure my eyes watered up too!! ^_^
My Favorite show throughout Disney Hands Down.
Im gonna be working at Walt Disney World next month and this is one of the first things on my bucket list to do while im there!
These people need to get a music record deal. They're awesome!
I've seen this three times, and I love it each and every time.
So this is them in 2011? I saw them in 2014 with the same 4 main singers and they are twice as good! Nothing like experience. This is easily the best show on the park!!!!!!!
I love this show so very much, it always give me goosebumps, I sit in the Lion Section everytime!!!
I remember that show. It brings back memories. memori
A lot of people compare it to either a warm soft pretzel or cookie, I love the smell! One of the reasons I love doing theatrical lighting! Hope to one day be rehired at Disney only as an Entertainment Tech this time (I was in rides and didnt have enough Show experience at the time so I left to get some haha) but for the time being I am working at a show in Pigeon Forge, TN to gain as much experience as I can!
My favorite show at Disney World.
Thanks for the video :) love this show so much.
Just got the soundtrack. :) Loved this show when I saw it in 2006 then again in 2009. Simply one of the best shows there!
My favorite line from this show: "I think that's Swahili for, 'It's my lucky day!'" XD
OH and i LOVE the scent in Philhar! MMMM APPLE PIE!
Great video. Was there yesterday. Loved the show
You got great footage from the show. I hope to see this when I go for a family vacation in april.
Thanks! Have a wonderful trip in April! ~Leap
I love the costumes! This show is amazing!
This is a great show!!!!
i love this show
This is by far my favourite version of this show on youtube, the performers are amazing and i can recite everything they say and how they say it, the other videos just don't do it for me!
Amy Brewer Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it :) - Tad, Undercover Tourist
i know "GET OUT" backwards and fowards :) this is the best show on property can u feel the luv 2 nite is my favorite part go elephant section!
Love that Timon's face is animated.
Bravo! Bravo!
Went there for the first time well first time at animal kingdom and just loved it saw 3 times and could see it more!!!:)
That sweet smell is the Theatrical Haze, and low smoke effects, the fluids have a sweet smell to them and since FOTLK is a relatively small venue, the close proximity to the stage wherever you sit and they fill that place full of it to get the beam effects, you get the smell a lot stronger then say a bigger or outdoor venue, You might smell that same smell in Stitch's great escape (not the chillydog). Sorry I am a Theatrical Tech, I thought i would share that info in case you were wondering.
THE BEST SHOW IN DISNEY!!!!! (Tarzan is.. well was #2)
omg i was there last year !!!!! :)
i cant wait to see this!!!
Bravo! Bravo!
By the way, can you guess who voiced Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa?
I think i'd be really cool if someone would make a video with all the coreography of this. That'd be sooooo awesome :-)
Awesome!
I saw this three times when I went there last wednesday
Saw it twice over Spring Break. I was a lion both times. :))
me and my family went there!
I am not sure the smell in Pirates, its not haze type smell but you are right it does smell good, Maybe it is something in the water? but usually water rides stink hahaha so maybe it is some other element. there arent many bad smells at disney other than one effect in Stitch's, Imagination, and Bug's Life but those are purposely. Personally my favorite is walking down mainstreet and smelling the bakery but i heard that is being turned into starbucks? all well I love the smell of coffee also!
no i was just there they still have the show
Awesomeness
Any idea what the name of the song from 14:28 to 15:33 is? For a long time I thought it was probably something unique to this show...but then I started hearing a cover of it play a few times at some ritzy pizza & brewery restaurant I go to sometimes.
yeah i like the smell and feeling of water rides exept splash mountain that water smells like you know what... :)
what did the guy say after they made the animal sounds and the guy was telling the audience to be quiet ????
me and my family went there and we said, "bye simba" and he shook his head yes to say bye! then we said, "bye pumba" and he waved bye! maybe you can do this too when you go there!
I had the unfortunate opportunity to sit in front of a group of rude women all they would say is "If this show isn't good I'm telling all my friends" but luckily they loved it when it finished.
same here
i seen this last spring
No they are not, it is potentially moving due to the Avatar expansion, though.
i dont know if im asking the right person but is it true they might be closing the show and boy I hope this rumor is incorrect
What happened at 24:40??
LION HEAR ME ROAR RRRRROOOAAAAARRRR
You mean you sat in the Giraffe section and got picked from the audience to make the sound of a Giraffe??
Micheal did not lie the dance machine
What? I'm in the SHEEP section?! WARTHOGS RUUUUUUUUULE!!!!!!!!
well if you ask me they need to leave it where it is and forget that avatat thing
dont ride the rapids right before seeing this! the theater is freezing!!!
i was a girrafe i had to make a sheep sound
Someone told me that they stopped doing this show, is that really true?
I was a warthog :/ Even though I love Pumbaa I don't want to sound like him!
im always in the elephant section
I was a warthog!
This version is beautiful ,,but i think the version in Hong Kong Disney ,the story is more fluent~as it added the parts of fight of simba and his uncle and somehow it seems more reasonable haha~but i still love this version of adding so much action parts of the stuntment~this is excellent too!3
keyrasha key this version isn't supposed to hold a story, though. It's just supposed to be a festival celebrating the music
YASSSS
Actually, that's more impressive.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know if they got Matthew Broderick to reprise his role for this show? I want to say "no", since they definitely couldn't get Nathan Lane to reprise his role, but it's hard to tell.
ztslovebird I think they got him, because it's the same voice at the end of Spaceship earth and they both sound a lot like him. If not, they have a really good impressionist
@@tabithadillon9931Trevor Dion Nicholas plays kiume festival of the king can you play the genie in the West end production Aladdin
