Love this video. So cool Thank you so much.❤😊You show such interesting stuff. That's partly why we love your videos. We're sorry you get so cold. Thank you for your sacrifices. ❤😊love your kitty ❤😊😊
This is a wonderful video of trains that you caught in the Walton, Kentucky area on 28 December 2023, Jaw Tooth! That was a different viewpoint to view the CSX train going under the Norfolk Southern bridge. I liked that view. Thank you for shoeing us the Hobo "signatures" on the Norfolk Southern bridge girders. The Hobo "signatures" were something that you do not see very often in railfan videos. I enjoyed watching this video!
Another really great video of train action in Kentucky, the War Memorial and with Norfie and the Train Dogs back at home have a really great week of watching more trains and Thanks Jaw Tooth.🇺🇲🤠🐶🐱🇺🇲 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲💨
Hey jaw tooth lots of great locations watching trains . Rail crossings are my favorite. I'm obsessed with crossings . Stay warm while filming trains. Have a great railroad day 🚂🙋♀️
Thanks Jaw Tooth, for posting and love you cat, I have a black cat also, he is male and looks identical to your cat Norfie. Have a great day and stay warm
I give those guys a lot of respect because they haul a lot of things the semis don't haul. Between both of them is how we get all we need to survive. Thanks for sharing this my friend.
Another great video JT. Thanks for going out in the cold winter weather to get the shots for us to see. You looked pretty cold on that last train by the war memorial. In North Yorkshire dialect "Thoo look reet mithered Maister!" It's just as cold over here with snow this evening so I appreciate your efforts. Thank you.
Great video jaw love the horn action . The memorial RIP . Nice place . Kitty same as my cat a mess but he’s great 🐈. Love the pets . Robin out yes 🥶 winter is here .😎👍🏻 be safe . Robin out
A fairly long ethanol train. Nice. I wish it was 30 degrees here instead of our -2 right now with 15 MPH winds! But that's what we get in the Midwest. Good catch JT! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Hello JT. I really enjoy the "color" commentary that you add to your train videos. The War Memorial on your most recent video is a great example. Keep up the great work!!
Tier 4 EMD leading the first one, a 4 stroke v12, “1010” motor, 1,010 cubic inches per cylinder. They’re kinda rare JT, there’s not too many out there as of yet. Love that over and under spot. Nice catch on the BNSF pumpkins, very cool memorial too🫡🇺🇸. Great video JT😎👍🏼
Awesome video! Had a dream last night i was living near railroad tracks, and I had a triple train meet😅. Then i woke up🤪. Dam🤬 thanks for the video. Brian, stay warm roll on
Cool mixed freight with the UP DPU! The blue GATX box cars are my favorite kind, especially the super-sized ones. That looked like a rather old DPU. They were going quite a bit faster than most trains on the Rat Hole Line that I've seen before. Good catch! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
What a fab video JT, Loving the location's esp the train bridge going over the train tracks. Awesome filming JT Your hard work & dedication definitely pays off. ❤😊
What is it about The Human makeup that causes the distant sound of a locomotive blowing its whistle to sound so melancholy and even mysterious at times. At 77 years old I'm still drawn to that distant sound. Love your videos and the little travel logs you include, keep up the great work.
A very familiar location for me. On Church Street, just behind your back is where I parked my car for 12 years. Too bad that there weren't any windows in the back of that building. I could hear the trains blowing their horns for that grade crossing, But I couldn't see them.
Another fantastic video, and thanks for enduring the cold to bring us great RR video! Carry a pruner in your pocket for trimming back brush, they're cheap enough.
those hopper cars are there mainly as crush zones to protect the tank cars from direct impact. there is a vid out there somewhere of a train with tank cars of a super acid and they had a two hoppers at both the front and end and also a hopper between every tank car.
With your age JT, there's no reason to be cold. As soon as you walk out the door for the truck, you should be able to tell that you need more clothing. You're no longer a 16 yr old waiting for the school bus in 30 degree wearher, in a t-shirt. Just sayin. Anyway, great video. Liked the UP auto racks. The NS mobile pipeline was great to see also. I guess they were all great. Thankyou JT.
It's just my hands and my head that usually get cold. Sometimes my feet. Mrs Tooth got me some hand warmers to use so that will help. Thanks for watching and commenting!
The motive power on the second southbound Norfolk Southern train are called run-through power. They’re foreign power locomotives but with Norfolk Southern’s train crew running the train from the front (head end) locomotive.
"What is the hurry?" 😅 I estimate the first train was moving about 58mph. It took about 1 second for an 85' auto rack to pass by the camera. But given the angle of the camera shot was not perpendicular to the track, the train's speed would be somewhat slower. Still, it's speed was in excess 50mph!
Good catch of the UP SD70ACE T-4. Seen one trailing on NS 345 heading to New Orleans about two weeks ago. That's a nice locomotive but Progressive Rail/ CAT isn't pushing their sales department.
I sometimes wonder how the railroads keep track of their motive power I see so many UP engines on point of CSX and NS trains it makes you wonder if they have any left for their own trains
Besides GPS which I'm sure they have now train locomotives and cars have a barcode or beacon on the side that gets scanned all throughout the system. For cars that's how the owners of the lease cars know how to charge customers.
Great video! Just wondering, what happened to the radar gun? Really enjoyed it even more (difficult to believe that's possible) when you used radar too. ;^) May God always be protecting you and your family.
Sometimes when they get bad they can damage the track and the wheel itself. Broken wheels have caused derailments. I'm no expert though so maybe someone can add to this
Everybody Rolling Along I think they all wanted to get to their home terminals. The first train had 21 cars of spent distillers grain and hopefully they will be delivered before it really starts to freeze. JT Hawaiian shirts are not going to cut it for several days. Wisconsin pretty much has a foot of snow on the ground and is to have continuous below zero wind chills through midday Thursday. Stay warm and stay safe!
Oui, after perusing their site, I just ordered one...a Brown Camo style item. Was pleased to see that they WILL ship 'across the sea'. Told them that you had alerted me to their wares. They weren't impressed...not enough, anyways, to score a discount. Hee-hee-hee !@@JawTooth

Love that first UP ACe. Horn is about foul but its an EMD, it already is a plus. Good stuff JT.
That UP horn blowin' thru the "bowl crossing" @1:00 was all I had to hear!! And...that faded UP DPU n the same bookin' consist??? 👍👍👏👏
