I am originally from Samarqand. I lived there first 20 years of my life, than I moved to US, Iam 32 now. I learned more about Islam while I was in US. I watched all your lectures on youtube. From Serat of the Prophet (saw) to short Q&A videos. I loved all your lectures. I learned a lot from your lectures and I am very happy about it. Now I see you walking the same streets i used to run around as a kid. Its an incredible feeling to see you walking the streets of Bukhara and Samarqand, how I wish to be there and show you more places and invite you to my house to stay, so I could listen your lectures live. I am trully happy that you visited Uzbekistan and I wish meet you one day.
My grand grandparents are from Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 but more especially from Samarkand and Bukhara ima ( Saeed ) they used to tell us stories about their childhood in there.
One day in shah Allah i will relocate to where i came from originally!!
Russian attacked at the time to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 there were no safe my grandparents moved to Afghanistan 🇦🇫
I was bone in Afghanistan now i live in London but my Dad dream is to relocate back to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿!!
Is there any possibility for them to move back and live there ??

Its telling that the mosque is taller than all the other structures around. Those generations knew what deserved to be the tallest in a town/city

The amplifications of the acoustically designed domes to reverberate the sounds across the mosque is truly mind boggling
Incase some of us don't know the importance of this city, its also the city where imam bukhari born and got his nickname bukhari from bukhara.so we are actually watching the foot steps of that great imam. Allahu akbar!

In October 1991, I initiated the Islamic Tours Worldwide (ITW) with 7 travel agencies from Malaysia to Uzbekistan. With me are the Malaysian Media’s of NST , Utusan & Karangkraf. We were exclusively visited to tour Samarkand, Bukhora and Khiva, Urgench. Visited the historical Makam of Imam Bukhori. I have been visiting this country and have a love and passion of the architecture, people and many more. 2019, I miss this place. Many changes and timely for me to rewrite a new chapter. In sha allah 2020 will be my goal to travel overland from Malaysia to Uzbekistan. To establish the silkroad under DMC SILKROAD ENTERPRISE.

What holy about them? Muslims have only 3 holy cities. Every pan-turkist and pan-iranist shall be punished by Allah, in-sha-Allah, unless he repends from asabiyyah.

There are many Islamic historical places around the world, but very few knowledgeable persons who can describe everything from an islamic point of view. Thank you brother Yasir Qadhi for such detailed explanation. This really increased my iman more.
I really wish if you could visit Ottoman Empires and Mughal empires as well and shed some lights on those topics as well.

i'm still amazed by those passive acoustic amplifier that project voice throughout building. the architect really knew what they doing. they dont simply does it by accident. there is some meticulous calculation of physics on those shape and etc. kudos to those scientist. back in the day when you dont have CAD and computer. don't know how they can model this in small scale. what an ingenuity.

Masha-Allah, good description. It is so painful when ever I heard about Soviet invaded and Central Asian States and destroyed mosques and religious centres. My ancestors migrated from Bukhara to Subcontinent (Pak-o-Hind) for the preaching of Islam. I love Bukhara and intended to visit soon🇵🇰

Thank you for the tour clip. This is a beautifully crafted soothing structure with bold lines and proportions. Mughals cities and Ishphahan (Iran) were definitely inspired by this architecture, for sure.
Also thank you for the Chengis Khan’s conquest story, I had no idea how world subjugation can start from the mistakes of the people's knowledge, especially Muslims. Certainly, Allah punishes us when we go astray from the teachings of the Quran and Justice.

Yasir Bhai you have to please do a comprehensive series on life of imam bukari...we need your knowledge on imam bukari and probably all the imams with complete details...i know it would be very long but you can record it as you research in home and do it before u go to sleep inshallah allah benefit us with your knowledge and take us even greater level.

★ الحاج المرحوم محمود بن ابراهيم بن داود قاضي. رحمه الله of Gujarat India. Born 1935 lived in the UK since 1956. He travelled for ziyarat to these blessed lands and historical Maqamaat. Fulfilling his life long yearning and ambition. He was always in awe of the collousel Ulama of the past and their history.

Whilst visiting Bukhara he was filled with happiness and overjoyed and thanking Allah for fulfilling his dream. Allah blessed him with Shahaadah on that Friday and took him into his mercy at the healthy age of 83.
★برد الله مضجعه و جعل جنة مثواه
He is laid to rest in the cemetery along side the mouseleum of Abu Hafs Kabir Rahimahulla ( a great personality originally from Iraq, one of the ustadh of the great renowned Imam Bukhari R.a, also a student of Imam Abu Hanifas students). The wise words of Imam Ashaafe R.a come to mind.
