The RPO is more effective because Morton can hit the back third this year. It also helps that the WRs seem to be running more open than last year but that happens when the secondary has to cover the full field.
As a Baylor grad who attended the last Baylor game at the Jones. I can say that I was embarrassed for tech fans because I was the loudest person in the section... and Chris, you said, "if there's nothing to cheer for"... call me an idealist, but I have always thought the most important time to be loud is when my team is down and it annoys the crap out of me when people are sitting on their a**, not doing anything!!
I am a Tech fan since the mid 70’s And could not agree with you more!! I was at that grand remember yelling at the Tech “fans” around me because they were acting like babies that didn’t get what they wanted for Xmas. What has happened to the West Texas Spirit? Has Tech become pathetic example of people who only know how to back their team and school if they are winning!! This is not a West Texas fan base that I knew in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Grow a PAIR Tech fans!!! And yes I hope you are embarrassed and insulted by what I have written!
You people don’t understand how important the support of the fan bases is and all this nonsense about “getting back to the Leach era” is! Casey if you truly want to know what a Tech fan looks like you have to go back to the 70’s -90’s. That is when a TRUE Tech fan fan came out and supported their team even when they weren’t flashy, but fought with West Texas toughness!! We screamed and yelled whether we were good or bad! That is the sense of a true FANatic!!!
Coaches meet with respective coordinators while players piss drink and snack. Coordinators motivate, gripe or praise briefly discuss any changes in 2nd half. Individual coaches chalk talk any changes and motivate and or chews out. Press box coaches haul back while head coach gives one last rah rah. Then you haul back out.
Instead of halftime adjustments, you can call it in game adjustments. But honestly, we're creatures of habit. Halftime used to be the only time the head coach actually got to talk to the team. We're talking the early days of football when it was 11 on 11 and that was your entire team in the days before the forward pass. The terminology stuck and was "close-enough" that we never changed things to be more accurate.
The home environment and attendance has improved immensely since Joey McGuire took over but as y'all said, we have a long way to go to get back to the Mike Leach days. I also thought the atmosphere against ASU was OK at best, especially in the second half. If we want to get back to the Leach days in terms of stadium environment we have to start winning a lot of games. Also if you want to have an elite atmosphere maybe don't schedule an afternoon game in September in Texas.
It would be nice if the crowd stayed for the entire game.
Love the Tuberfool bashin’ guys.👆🏻

I am now a Whodini fan because of a Texas Tech football podcast... thank you for broadening my musical tastes as well as my TTU football knowledge.
Man! What a sound bite from Kenny!!
The Jones can get loud! That’s Raider Power in action.
Like Whodini said "THE FREAKS COME OUT AT NIGHT!!" LOL, nice

Balance is better.
And competition is weak. Good time to figure it all out, because after next week we’ll start playing decent teams.
