I had a customer purchase a Range Rover with the radio not working. After discovering how much it would cost to replace I focused on what the factory radio was doing. It appeared to be locked. I searched the internet and came across this video. The radio is now working again. Thank you.
You are a star I tell you why My friend 2011 Land Rover CD player was exactly same as yours he take it everywhere to fix it one electronic garage they said to him if we fix it we charge you £1200 + vat they had car for past 3 month they couldn’t fix it today I searched all over TH-cam none of them have solutions until I find your videos I did exactly what you did now everything is working fine again you are a star mate **** will Dane keep up with good work thank you from me and from my friend thanks
Great step by step process and it fixed my radio audio and freezing navigation screen. Connected it back to Bluetooth module and symptom reappeared. Now to order a new Bluetooth module. Thanks for the process.
I really appreciate the steps through this video. It helped us get back our radio after the shop had messed the whole radio up from working. Step by step was great and simple to follow, and it works just as new now! Thank you
Awesome video. Thank you. I used a 5amp connector block to rejoin them and hey presto!! Working radio etc again. I can suffer the loss of the Bluetooth as it was shite anyway!! Thanks once again.
This worked brilliantly! I typically don't comment but I am so pleased that I didn't have to strip fiber optics or replace the system. The look of embarrassment on the technician's face who has been toiling with the issue for the last 2months was priceless too. It is my wife's car....... Happy wife, happy life!
Hi friends I have a problem with my radio. I joined the fiber optic cables of the bluetooth module. the screen works perfectly but the stereo radio has no sound.

I'm having the same issue with my 2011 hse sport I've gone 4 years with no radio and wasted hundreds of dollars on people not knowing how to fix it. I don't know what to do
What a bodge. Just buy a fiber optic jumper and plug it onto the leads that go into the crap BT module. You can buy several for a few bucks online. They come in very handy when you're trouble shooting a MOST communications problem. The audio system communicates around the fiber optic (FO) loop known as the MOST bus. It does this as it is impervious to RF (radio frequency) noise that could degrade the audio quality. If you disconnect any FO plug and look into it when the system is powered on you should see one side light up and the other be dark. This is because one side sends light out and the other receives it. If your connector is dark on both sides it means the module last in the loop is not emitting light down the FO 'pipe'. So, plug that connector in and remove the one before it and repeat the process until you find a module that is emitting light. That means the next one isn't passing the data along and is therefore where the problem exists. Using FO jumpers makes this quick and easy and if you want to bypass a bad module, such as the crappy BT module, you can leave a bypass in place and get on with your life.
