my 2010 NT 700 has a C Bailey windshield. I have earned dozens of motorcycles over the decades. I had a Honda pacific coast that I commute to dawn for 24 years, 31 mile round-trip usually six days a week, eight months, a year, until they start salting the roads.. my NT 700 C Bailey windshield is the first windshield I ever experienced that does not have buffeting. I’m getting wind over the windshield, but it is smooth air, I have never experienced that before. Usually a windshield punches a hole in the air, and the rider gets buffeted by the air wrapping around the windshield To fill that void caused by the windshield. That is not the case with the C Bailey windshield on my nt 700. I appreciate that because my videos on TH-cam filmed from behind bars usually has a lot of wind noise unless I am very careful on where I place my remote microphones wrapped with filters. This is a great improvement for helmet camera recording for me.
Hi Jody and thanks for your insight. I personally helped with the design of the Cee Bailey windshield for the NT-700. I initially ordered the original Cee Bailey designed windshield only to find that it would not fit the motorcycle if equipped with the optional wind deflectors. I called Cee Bailey about the issue and in the conversation explained to them that I could possibly reshape the windshield to work better and fit properly. They gave me their blessing to do so (no matter how crude) and a return label for my finished product. I figured that since I had a good carcass to work with, that I would take my time and do the best job possible. I carefully trimmed the edges and took a heat gun to it to reshape it a bit. I sanded and polished the edges to give it a glass-like look and sent it back to them. The phone call I got from them when the received it was complimentary. They asked “how in gods name did you get it to look like this”? LOL They said they weren’t going to even touch it, and work right off this as a model for a new version. The only additional thing that we discussed was adding a mild inverted flip to the top of the shield. I had a 2005 BMW K1200GT that had a mild flip to the top of its shield and it was without question, the best shield I ever rode with. It had no buffeting to the rider and was smooth and quiet. They liked the idea and was willing to give it a shot. They sent the prototype back for a test ride and the results were excellent (as you described). It’s a shame Cee Bailey got out of the motorcycle shield business. They made a nice product and were SUPER nice to work with. They sent me a box with one of every size and tint of the NT-700 windshield for my help. Very Cool!
Hello, I just bought nt700va 2006. I really like as most owners I just wonder where do I get this wind reflectors for hands. Also something to protect my feet from getting soaked. Any advice welcomed 😀😀
Seven years later... I'm happy with the stock windshield, but mine cannot change positions, only up and down, 17 cm. (nearly 7 inc.) difference. Is this system available anywhere in the world?
Gabriel Gómez depence on the year of manufacture. 2006 was the first build with 3 gift differentials. I think the 2008 has the 5 point like in this 2010 model.
My 2007 model has two settings. The lower one leads to rain flicking up onto my visor. The high setting leads to me looking through the screen. 2022 & I have a failed ABS actuator unit Honda can no longer supply a replacement.

Very informative video. I like it. This relates to the later NT700V. :) Drop by when you can, you may like my content. :) Keep it up. Cheers.
Mine 2008 hasn`t this option.
Me too :( Registration 08, it has the previous 2 position spanner-changed windscreen
@@alkaholic4848 Same two positions on my 07 registered bike.

Thanks a lot for your clarification!
