Go just a little past the "happy medium". That will provide a very barely minimum richer fuel mix but will ensure that the lubricant mixed in gas is never short.
Right on! I always add a little extra oil to my mix. I rather fowl a plug before I blow an engine. Cheap insurance
Heat up a small screw driver tip red hot then stab it , then use the Echo small D screwdriver
I’ve never had any luck with heating the tip as well as using a drywall screw.
The issue is me for sure
@@pattayperformance use the actual tool designed for removing the limiter plugs, this dude in the video has no business even working on the blower , he’s a butcher …!

You can use a flat head to adjust your carb?
You will need a steady hand and a dremel to cut a slit into the jet so it can accept a flat head screw driver.

What is the blue liquid?
Blue liquid would be the color of my gas due to the type oil mix I use.

You rock brother. I have an echo pb580t, and have an issue. Works well, but after running it through 1 tank of mixed gas will not start. Have a new carb I'll install, and will check resistance on coil. Was told that if blower won't start after running, and hot, it might be the coil. Machine is less than one year old. Any comments would be welcome.
Did you try restarting it by pulling the air filter and hitting it starting fluid?

On the carbs with the cover on the carb adjustment, I take the little screwdriver, heat it with a torch, stick it in the plastic, twist and pull and it's out quick and easy

i just bought one of these and it runs great, starts with 2 pulls every time, I use non eth gas with echo red armor oil mix ....dirty air filter- fuel filter- spark arrestor- worn out plug will cause almost same issue so I check those first

Without a tach adjust CCW (rich) until it 4-strokes (burbles) then a 1/4 turn CW (lean) should be safe. I prefer a tach because I have one! I should do a video on ear tuning against a tach!

One day...when cows can fly. There is a guy I watch Matt Olsen who takes complete wrecks of chainsaws and brings them back to life...over 8k in subs and no tech needed. I think someone even gave him one, still doesn’t use it. Every tool has its place...nothing wrong with using mechanical instinct when you go it. 🤙🏻🦅🇺🇸🔧
I made that mistake ONCE, on a cheap hand held blower I had. Never again. I use the factory rpm limits for low and high speed and my trusty DTI Tachometer. It’s great for lawnmowers too as many either over rev or under rev.

Hello, did everything except the seafoam and it worked fine the first time and then the next few times I used it, I am back to the same issue of losing power. My mixture is correct.
Adjust again…just need to find that sweet spot.
How is your spark arrestor and was when the last time you serviced it?

Is the little plug inside the hole or is it flush with the carburetor because I can’t tell if I have one or not I think it might be inside the hole I’m not sure

the spark plug is not sparkling I think it's the kill switch

Pull the wires off the kill switch and make sure they don’t touch each other or anything metal.

I’m not sure, did you find the peep hole? Best educated guess is yes
What caused the bogging down out of the blue though
Over time air mixture needs to be played out as tolerances loosen up with use.

I have the same model brought brand new but it won’t start after 20 or more pulls it finally starts what could be the issue?
How old is it? Commercially used and abused?
Pull the muffler and see if the piston is scored…if it is time for a rebuild.
If not…open up the air filter housing and squirt some starting fluid in it. If it fires right away time for a complete tune up. Problem still persists new carb
@@pattayperformance bought brand new 2 weeks ago using it commercially sometimes it starts right away in beginning but when it’s hot doesn’t want to start right away at least 15 pulls then turns over
are the carbs rebuildable or cleanable like snowblower carbs with the float? im having similar issues with same 755st starts and idles fine and blows good for a while but after maybe 30m or blowing starts bogging down at full throttle if turn it off let it sit for 5 m it will work good then start doing it again you think this is the fuel tank filter?
Yes the carbs are serviceable, they can be cleaned and rebuilt with a kit. Have you changed the fuel filter? Have you checked for spark as soon as it dies?

meant the breather from the fuel tank i did do the tuneup kit in the spring air filter spark and fuel filter air filter prob could go now
@@robre6840 ok echo has a thing called a “repower kit”. Involves air filter, spark plug, fuel lines, tank grommet and fuel filter.
As soon as it dies...have you checked for spark? Could be the coil getting hot. Once it cools down...good to go.
My carb must have come from China because I don't even have the hole there.

Did you try adjusting the carb?
Check the spark arrestor
Pull exhaust make sure it’s not clogged up and inspect the piston for scoring.

Hi I got trrimmer with too high idle (as if I give throttle). Sort of wont fall back to normal idle. When I give throttle it bogs down. And power no good. High idle makes tread-head turn very fast but if I try to cut grass it has no punch. ANY HELP is appreciated!! If the carb screw is the issue - WHY? In fall I used it NO PROBLEM. Now its acting up. So strange...
Are you on Instagram? You have a few issues going on at the same time. Adjust the H set screw so it doesn’t bog when hit the the throttle. Once you fix that. Desert the idle using the screw and go from there

I just ordered a set yesterday from my dealer. I broke my GOTO ONE. 🇺🇸🤙🏻🦅🔧. He had to special order them bc all he had was grey and black. I would lose it in the driveway!
Nothing earth-shattering here. This entire process is in the Echo owner’s manual. All people have to do is read it.

I've got a funny for ya, I do a local snap off dealer mowers for him, a zero turn, a push mower, a weedwacker, and a back pack blower, I was working on his zero turn, and he walks up to me, and says, ok what's the damage, money wise, I said, your in luck, today only, I running a special, you can have all this done, for 45 easy payments of 25.95..... He didn't find that funny at all, but I did, as did his neighbor, and his wife..... LMAO

Absolutely NOT! Remember the other day we were talking about Mrs. Pattay’s Performance Altima...when she got stuck due to the fuel pump. She bought it BRAND NEW at Smithtown Nissan in NY. Her car had CA emissions and fuel pump. Special order and cost more money too! 😤

No screw driver on earth that fits in that hole. I ruined 2 carbs digging at this BS. Throw it in the garbage and buy a $20 one off Amazon that has an external adjustment screw

This echos suck, I've already had to replace one carb at 6 months. Now it's going again on the new one. What's the deal with these? The bulb always gets stuck and will not start.

I find it very odd you have to replace the carb already. What are you issues that lead to replacement and not adjustment?
You changing out your fuel filters as well?
Primer bulb getting stuck means there is a leak somewhere.

@@pattayperformance I brought it back to Home Depot and once again, they replaced the carb on it. I've been using 89 fuel with the echo 50:1 mix. This thing is only 1 yr and a half old and eats through carbs like candy. Use it on my home lawn prob twice a week. Thing is junk.

That’s weird I use mine daily for work hours on end and still runs like it did out of the box. Love the blower although I may upgrade soon.

Seafoam doesn’t do shit, clean the exhaust port and the spark arrestor screen..!
