Maarten Olthof: The Vajra Academy Lives

Early 2023 in our Earth-Wide Solar Cooking Forums, Maarten recounted how 7000 parabolic cookers were deployed to refugee camps in Nepal, virtually halting the deforestation that had started during the exodus from Bhutan. At the time the Vajra Academy, a "changemaker school" in Nepal was threatened with closure after an earthquake destroyed a related project, creating financial jeopardy for Vajra.
