Love this! 💯 They aren't tests, they're traps. They're designed to set men up for failure and then falsely interpret the results to reveal a character flaw. People are seriously letting these stupid "tests" literally blow up their relationships. And women are willfully setting these traps, gullibly believing that they are somehow dodging a bullet when their relationship implodes. Truth is the ones dodging the bullet are the men who are finding out their women are willing to be toxic instead of being a good partner.
A toxic woman traps her man and sets him up for failure.
A good woman supports her man and sets him up for success.

@SaryM29 well, the ideology specifically targets men and women's inflated traditional expectations of men. This kind of "pledge your loyalty and willingness to treat me like a princess" kind of thing is not something that goes both ways for the genders. The same way youre gonna be hard pressed to find a man that asks the "worm" question and gets upset at the answer. So this particular cultural phenomenon is pretty 100% anti-male and pro-female (in a way that enables toxic female behavior, not in a healthy way).

@@SaryM29 I'm assuming youre a woman. We men also tend to think that until we legit encounter it when dating straight women. It's definitely not just a tiktok thing lmao. There are a lot of things that you simply dont know about how women tend to be in relationships since you lack that perspective. I dont blame you for that, but please try not to dismiss things as fake without actually having that knowledge.
A notable alternative that I've heard is "would you still love me if I was a puddle of water". You'd think it was just a joke, but there are many who get genuinely upset about your answer, similar to how the woman in the video fixates on him peeling an orange for her.

Don't worry. Just keep working on it and try to relax, if you can. You have time to figure it out.
My first couple of relationships were incredibly hard, with tons of heartbreak. I couldn't understand what was going on half the time, there was a lot of pain and zero clarity. A constant fear of rejection, too.
However, I kept at it, kept meeting people, kept trying to become more confident (my big problem was, and still is, making the first move... and every move after that). Eventually, I summoned up the courage to ask out the girl I've been dreaming about for a year. We've been together ever since, 14 years now.
We both understand now just how toxic our previous relationships have been, how much misunderstanding, mind games and pointless drama we went through. But you can find someone who's on the same wavelength as you, who just genuinely wants to be happy together and who understands "happy together" the same way you do. It becomes so much easier with time - you start working together with your partner, you find warmth and encouragement and support in each other.
So keep trying, and try not to get discouraged! Everything in life is a skill, and you can get better at it with practice. I wish you all the best, wherever you are!

Maybe a dating site for women with similar veiws to find good and decent men, who want nothing more than to treat a woman right and to have that treatment reciprocated? I've been single for 20 years because I can't stand the idea of having to kowtow at the vaginal shrine of misery and belittlement that every woman seems to expect now days! I mean, SERIOUSLY!!! I JUST WANT A PARTNER AND A FRIEND!!! Why is it so hard to find that? I gave up a long time ago. I will preface this with I'm a 40 year old women that does not have TikTok or care about trends or viral tests. And I'm extremely thankful that I'm not part of that generation who cares.
Do you know the biggest test I had when considering if my boyfriend was husband material? I looked how he interacted with my family, his family, and friends. My parents adored him from the beginning (we were 17 and 18), but the real clincher was my grandmother. She LOVED my boyfriend, who then became my husband. When my grandmother passed away my husband asked to take my place as a pallbearer for bringing her casket to the grave. And I agreed with that because their relationship was adorable and very special too. He considered her his grandmother.
My husband is an amazing person and dad. We have been happily married for 15 years with 2 wonderful children. I don't need to "test" him. Because he is constantly there for his family. He has seen me at my worst, held my hand and supported me through the toughest times of my life. And I for him.

Your comment reminds me of what my wife told me confirmed that I was husband material. She saw how I was around children and knew I would be a good father.
Her grandmother also loved me from the moment she met me. Crazily enough, her grandmother and my maternal grandmother were cousins and grew up together. The first time we ever met she called me son and welcomed me with a huge hug. Granted, my maternal grandmother passed away when I was a teenager and I didn’t really know her but I felt like I had a second chance at another grandmother. She would always smile and welcome me whenever I visited.
She’s gone home to be with everyone else who went before her but I will always remember her. She loved me like I was her child. Growing up in a home where love was not shown and we were only as valuable as our productivity it was a stark change. She showed me the love of a mother I never knew I needed.

You're laying your phone facedown. That's what cheaters do stuff like that is all I heard. And constant tests to see if I truly love her. When i'm paying all her bills , feeding her making sure she get anything she needed or wanted at the sacrifice of things I needed but yet I'm the problem. One of my exes once argued that the most powerful relationship is an open relationship, because if you're not being sexually exclusive, the only thing keeping the relationship together is mutual trust and communication. You're not relying on the other person wanting to maintain exclusivity with you, and you're not holding the threat of being caught cheating over their head*. No testing, no expectations--either you genuinely want to be with this partner and are willing to do your part of maintaining a healthy relationship, or the relationship simply stops existing because there's nothing else holding you together.
*You still want to communicate _about_ the sex you're having in an open relationship, because STDs are a thing and honesty about who you're sleeping with is partially a health consideration for your partner. Lying about who you're sleeping with is still grounds for ending an open relationship, it's just that _the act of sleeping with someone else_ stops being a hard-line dealbreaker.
