  • I feel like I've said some of this already but with the release of a documentary from Vice where I'm featured, it seems necessary to talk about it.
(I apologize for not having the end credits in this video. If the subject is too serious I'm not sure how some would feel having their name attached to it)

I will wholeheartedly never understand why so many people want to blame you for the permanent choice she made for herself.
I’ve said it before… it’s not your fault, there’s nothing you could have done, she needed a therapist and support from her family and friends, not a glass of milk from a TH-cam personality.
I’ve seen a number of people mentioning how irresponsible it was to even post the Google maps image of your home. Everyone makes missteps in life and a number of people doxx themselves and their children on social media all the time without even realizing it. It’s not done on purpose. No one *thinks* someone would stalk them, or they think it’s not possible based on the information given. Just because the information is there DOES NOT mean it’s acceptable for someone to go through the effort to stalk you nor does ANY of this situation excuse how utterly terrifying that behavior is. I’d be terrified if someone I didn’t know showed up to my home, and you handled the situation much differently (and by that I mean you were much calmer) than most people probably would have. I’d have straight up called the police.
It’s incredibly sad that she took her own life, but you had nothing to do with it.

He gaslight her, telling her to suicide, joke or not. You can't tell to someone to go to kill themself, even as joke.Is 1 step to trigger them to do it, even more when it come from someone you care. I'm sure she loved/cared for him, so she fully took his words. There is NO SARCASM JOKES to somebody you don't know ,even more dark humour. He had his fault, he could say that he know he did wrong for saying what he say, but he point it all to be the girls fault. And i'm not very bible following, but with my ALT youtube i'm subscribed to him sience 2016, when he was FULL OF HIM SELF, and i was drooling to see him fall and lose his fanbase, because he started to make bad videos, "eating a bible for 1 hour straight" whit his dogshit gf. Don't tell peoples to suicide as dark humour, if they are not your friends, and you do a dark humour joke in the right time for it. Don't pee on peoples belis, you can joke about it with friends, not on internet. He's a shit, even in this video i followed his eyes, and at some points you can see he read teh script from the ground, to make it not be soo obious. Single cool thing about him is 3 songs he made in 2016-17, and his outfits. SIngle reason why i once in a while visit his channel, to see the apperance./

Unfortunately she made the choice to take her own life
Even if this person did contribute to her thought process of wanting to go through with it, its not his fault per se
But if he is stupid enough to post a picture of his location, then he should have expected his privacy violated
You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes
All he had to do was not make a video basically putting her down
      "I didnt name her!"
He still made a video that he knew she would see and would crush her soul.
He deserves to be happy, most humans do
But he honestly just needs to remove himself from any form of media if he can't handle the backlash of his actions
The more he chases this the more unhappy he'll become till he really does have nothing else left, this channel is already dead and just living off clout now.

It is absolutely unfair to hear the weight of such a tragedy your shoulders Richieñ This whole idea of cancel culture and being so unforgiving goes completely against the same values that people preach of forgiveness, kindness and the Golden rule. The people that protest the value of another individual's character because of a mistake they have made are the same people that are preaching how important it is to be kind to, empathetic of and forgive those we don't understand. I've never understood it, cancel culture! That is so messed up,Ritchie.Ive never heard about this, but it sounds like a horrible thing to go through. To be blamed for someone's choice to end their life,is beyond words.Im so sorry. You don't strike me as a pity party.I hope that doesn't happen to you or anyone else ever again. Its hard for me to wrap my head around it.People can be so cruel, and unjust and hateful.Ive had my share of people like that and I can tell you,I know for sure, you will never be one of them and neither will I.Once you been part of these type of people, you promise yourself to never be like them.Thats a good thing.🖤🌠

I have to to admit I discovered your Channel because I watched the vice segment about you and personally I sympathized with you and the backlash you recived for something that you had no control over. I did not think Vice portrayed you as cold or harsh but instead an actual human that has feelings and how your life has been affected negatively over these events.

She would have been able to decide it wasn’t a good idea if she didn’t have her demons. It is not ok that she stalked you. Everyone should have known it was a joke and this should never have happened. I am so glad that you are dealing with this so seriously and well. Vice did a very good job at the horrible job that they were doing. I hope Arlene gets some peace. She doesn’t deserve to have her memory desecrated and used against someone she was a fan of. I wish you all well and the haters can go die or have their electricity shut off indefinitely so they can get a reality check and maybe become better people.

I don’t know how anyone can logically feel like her killing herself is your fault. Any rational person should agree you shouldn’t just show up to someone’s house! So many creators have released videos saying “QUIT COMING TO MY HOUSE”. No one acts like they’re being cruel, they’re justified. People don’t just do that kill themselves bc they were disappointed they couldn’t just walk in a strangers home. There have been underlying issues/depression. It makes a joke of mental health issues to act like someone just kills themselves for such a reason.

Richie you spoke really well in the video. It was really clear and tactful. I get the mental health side of thing. I understand what it like to be so suicidal that one needs obsess over something to breath another day. To distract from dark thoughts. It takes ots of professional and family support as well protentially medication or hospitalization to get past it. It is not an easy tasks. It take a lot of effort and self work to fill the void that suicdalization creates. To those in the mist of it it shall pass.

To be honest, I didn't know about you before the Vice piece, and I didn't feel like it made you look bad. You were put in a very awkward situation, a tragedy happened later on, you were transparent about your relationship with your fans, which I thought made you look better than others in that documentary who were more pleasing but obviously faking. You definitely should've picked up around the house though, lol.

Richie you're far from being a bad person despite what people has said in the comment sections before, there is no guide for "how to live live without fucking up and doing mistakes" i genuinely think you did your best and that you truly cared about her well being despite feeling scared and unsafe about the situation, and you laughing & smirking at odd moments is totally normal it is a coping mechanism you have to cope with heavy feelings of pain and sadness, there is nothing wrong with joking about morbid stuffs or laughing when talking about something tragic and dramatic this is your coping mechanism to not feel sad and cope with the negative emotions despite vice or certain people thinking it's just you showing no regret when it's not true and completely ignorant everyone has their coping mechanism and this is one of yours and there is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with that. I truly hope you can find a way to get over this and move on without torturing yourself with your brain non stop about what you could've done and i'm sure if you could go back in time you'd do it because you're a good person who wants to fix everything bad happening but sadly life isn't like that i hope you heal.

I feel kind of bad for Social Repose. Everyone has their limits, I don’t think it was a great idea post the milk challenge, but he couldn’t have predicted that a mentally ill fan would do what she did. I think it was an honest mistake. And that he should be “forgiven” by the public who have chosen to blame him. We don’t need anymore casualties. Or blaming of other people, understanding is important.

I watched the thing and tbh, it might be because I'm from Eastern Europe but, I don't think it pictured u as cold and insensitive. To me, it showed a content creator who has been through it and somehow survived the cultural reset of late 10's and who was victim to the actions of a mentally unstable individual. It's clear that you're taking this very seriously, it was clear in Vice's video too (for me at least), and it pictured the very grim reality of being a content creator. What the now deceased person did, was totally fucked up, she herself realised that afterwards. Her taking her life might have something to do with her action back then, most probably it's not just that; it'd be totally inhumane and insensitive for people to hold you responsible. Arlene's life was tragic and Vice is making bank from it.
