I may be in the minority, but honestly I find the volume of the vocals perfect and have no problems hearing them. The song is a soft one, especially if you listen to the original its a very soft vibe song. Even as a metal cover it conveys that softness still with the added roughness- like rain before a thunder, the rain is still present but now there's that kick of thunder that reverberates through you. I feel like the vocals going above the instrumentals wouldn't hit as well as it does. But that's just me and I probably explained it horribly.

The song sounds awesome, and your singing is good too. The only problem is that it's super soft. I have to really crank up the volume to hear this song.
The overall volume of the song is not really my fault. TH-cam automatically brings down the volume so that all the videos on their website are at the equal loudness. The song was mastered to -9 LUFS which (I assume you don't know about this stuff) is plenty loud. Yes some commercially released metal and pop music are mastered to even louder volumes, but they are compressed and squashed to oblivion with no dynamic range in sight. I try to always keep the dynamic range of my music relatively high. so that it can be both loud and quiet whenever it is required. Thank you! 💛

I literally started tearing up. This is absolutely amazing. And the low vocals volume kind of work. In a weird way. It forces you to turn up the volume, immersing you into everything so when the climax finally happens, it’s… overwhelmingly beautiful and satisfying.

The song sounds awesome, and your singing is good too. The only problem is that it's super soft. I have to really crank up the volume to hear this song.
The overall volume of the song is not really my fault. TH-cam automatically brings down the volume so that all the videos on their website are at the equal loudness. The song was mastered to -9 LUFS which (I assume you don't know about this stuff) is plenty loud. Yes some commercially released metal and pop music are mastered to even louder volumes, but they are compressed and squashed to oblivion with no dynamic range in sight. I try to always keep the dynamic range of my music relatively high. so that it can be both loud and quiet whenever it is required.
