Piece of advice guys. When you have a vehicle with selectable 4wd it is recommended to back up about 10 feet after using it to release tension on the sprag cluch in the transfer case. You may what to have a look at that.
Tires are different size affects 4wheel operation had an Exploder that didn't like it

It went into Four wheel some how, he said it was in Four wheel drive and was coming out.
@@gdkaiserit was probably an automatic function given the different wheel speeds it was seeing, maybe it has an auto function that has to be disengaged? I think my neighbors raptors are like that (I have two different neighbors with raptors, one year apart, different colors lol) where it has to be disabled on startup every time. But my memory may be lying to me, I haven't driven one of them in a few months, since I worked on one.
@@gdkaiseralso, it may have gotten the transfer case bound up a bit and needed him to backup to get it unlocked. I think I heard it happen, it's pretty common on GM cars to have that issue, I wouldn't see why Ford would be any different in this case. Just my guess though

A little off topic, But one thing I love about my Raycon's that you dont mention (I bought them because of your ads, they are really good!), Is that the case has Wireless charging. Just leave the ear buds in the case, pop the case on your wireless charger and BAM!!! DONE! :)
smaller tires on the back compared to the front is no different than running 2 different gear ratios in the axles... when 4WD is engaged they are going to try to move the vehicle forward at different speeds. The front tires are trying to move forward at one speed while the rear is trying at a different speed so they will just fight each other and, as you experienced, the Raptor's computer is reading wheel speeds which don't match so it's all kinds of confused.

Now what I don't get, is why the center diff would be locked. You'd never want to do that on asphalt, even with same size tires.

With the f150’s 4x4 set up I always put it in neutral before shifting in and out of 4x4. Yeah putting it in reverse will help unlock it especially 4 low

Man, you guys should’ve put all four tires on there so you could do four-wheel-drive drifting and also running down the dragstrip to see how fast it is with that drastic gear change due to the difference in tire diameter.
Why run it on the strip, it would have been much slower.
