Hello Tamarr, Kelly, and TJ! This is awesome news! Many congrats. I would tend to agree that the use of a facilitator or handler is a great choice! They know the contacts….they have the rapport….and they know the language. This is exciting!
PS. Awesome backdrop to your video!

I totally agree, sometimes you need a professional!

I have heard that the Mexican government has more paperwork than the U.S. government and that is scary, lol! So glad that you got everything sorted out and now you all have permanent residency!

If I heard it correctly, you were able to get a normally 4-year process down in about a year?

      That’s correct ✅! Wasn’t difficult at all.

I have had my temp residency now for Almost two years and I also know that Mexico is where I want to be permanently so I went into INM and asked if I can swap out my temp to permanent two years early and they said if I was retired and getting a pension I was able to. They said I just have to wait it out two more years. What can I do in your opinion?

I can only advise based on my experience. My options were, use my pension or I could’ve used my savings. I do not believe there is a requirement to be retired or receiving a pension if you can prove you meet the financial requirements.
