@@Whendeesle Roguelike games are made to be played over and over again. When you start a run you fight against a group of randomly generated enemies, choose between temporary buffs that encourage you to use different playstyles. When you die, you go back to the beginning, lose your temporary buffs but you can choose between permenant upgrades that will buff your character or even change the game world itself. Then you start another run with more randomized enemies, sometimes in a randomized world with more randomized buffs until you reach the end of the game. There's also 5 different difficulty levels in this dlc, so if you feel like Kratos is becoming too overpowered with the permenant buffs, then you can always up the difficulty as well. Roguelikes are really fun to get into if you don't mind dying because you are supposed to die lots in roguelikes.
Brok is gone for good. When Sindri retrieved his soul in Alfheim from the first time he died, he only got 3 out of 4 pieces of Broks soul back. So when Brok died for the second time, he was denied an afterlife and also couldn't be brought back from the dead by Freya.
