    Dave Wilson nursery in their youtube channel mentioned that "never use an exterior paint" because they contain chemicals and fungicides and they recommend only using interior latex paint. I do not want any chemicals in my organic orchard. Perhaps the interior paint will last less but I think it is safer for fruit trees.

    Just had a 4 year 7’ tall oak get griddled by landscaper’s weed whacker. I stripped some bark from the branch of another oak, and took some silver to my bench grinder to make silver dust.
    I put the silver dust on the face of the wound, then applied my patches to the wound, and wrapped the entire thing in duct tape to create a seal so the tree can hopefully still draw nutrients.
    Silvers is anti microbial anti bacterial, so that should keep everything healthy.

    someone told me to seal with black and I did it 😢 11-27
