This also makes your boys and your baby girl exposed to other culture….and have a child growing up learning and understand various culture makes us unique, open minded, etc. It will be wonderful to see you celebrating other festivals too like Chinese, Muslim, Jewish, etc etc. One celebrating a month and the kids going to be super excited .

We call those flower garlands as “mala” in Bengali. You can hang them on the sides of your entryway doors or decorate your home with them. Happy Diwali and Kali Puja as the Goddess Kali is worshipped on the day of Diwali in West Bengal.
