They are strong, and yet they have always sung live. I watched them at Coachella. I was there. They sang live and they performed the strongest and most tiring dances one after the other. The air was strong, which led to them singing louder for us to hear them. They are crazy in the true sense of the word. I do not like K-pop, but I watched them at Coachella with friends and I loved them. They are the first group I became attached to.

I actually discovered them the best way, I was at Blizzcon in anaheim where they played live and I met them gaming as well. Live performance unexpected is the best way to discover a group. They did a song for the Overwatch game promo Perfect night and they sang other songs live at the conventioon. My favorite MV is impurities, the choreo is really good. The rumors of there singing is ridiculous, this comes from the Coachella concert out near palm springs california, it wasnt really true, they did well, as you said they are not mamamoo, really very few groups can match them for vocals but they did sing live, well and the performance was awesome, and by the end of 2024 have topped all kinds of charts and wins. Interesting group. Yunjin (red hair) is american, parents moved to the US when she was an Infant, Sakura and Kazuha are japanese, Sakura was in some jpop groups, tv even a musicals, Kazuha did ballet in the Netherlands. The youngest Eunchae only turned 18 a few weeks ago and was added to the group with almost no training, same with Kazuha, going from Ballet and dance into kpop with not much prep time. Chaewon is my bias in this group and if you want to see her really young, look up Moonbyul and Chaewon singing Moonbyul's Selfish(on the MV is it Moonbyul and Seulgi). This was during the Mamamoo solo stages at MAMA 2018, Moonbyul chose Chaewon to sing it with her.

I love the 5 of them, their personalities are different from each other and relatable. I have to applaud to Eunchae(maknae), cuz when she performs, she does not look like a teenager, she is quite mature lol.and agree also with them as an interesting group, all their backgrounds and individualities comes to life and being utilized to their advantage.

I know that Yunjin for example, was a feature on Hobi’s last album. She was an ARMY for a long time and I couldn’t imagine the feeling of finally being on a song with your idols! It must feel like a dream. And also, Le Sserafim is actually a spelling of Im Fearless, which is their concept. Another girl group I have to recommend is XG, a japanese group mainly singing in English. Their songs are amazing!! 💜💜

They are like most HYBE groups, focusing on dance. To be fair, the vocal line is not bad, but Source Music is giving them songs they can't sing properly, especially because of the hard choreo. HYBE really need to start caring about vocal training as well, because Le Sserafim and ILLIT getting so much hate because of them. I'm not a fan of them or their songs, I prefer their seniors GFriend, but they are more typical girl group but talented! They're one of the few groups that actually can sing live and do hard choreo at the same time. Based on your preference, I think these are the groups you'd love for sure: Sistar, 2NE1, Red Velvet, Dreamcatcher, GIdle, Kiss of Life, NMIXX, Young Posse (they are a Hip Hop group) and maybe Girls Generation as well, if you wanna see the blueprint of girl groups.
