I been playing off and on few years just started caves and artifact retrievals. I do basilo for reasons other say and meg pack of three that i use to attack my target. The jellyfish will follow you like your last time in i knew they where right above you you have to rubber neck alot and take off them dumb fins you swim to fast are un needed. Keep up the fun
Bary is my choice for first steps into the ocean. in fact, 3 of them as a pack. It’s the spin attack that makes them so valuable. They stun lock the sharks, even the alphas. Lovin the vids. 🤙🏽
@@RidleyFox1tame a basi they are immune to jellyfish. That’s what knocks you off. My favorite way to “captain Nemo” it in the ocean is on a basi followed by a bary pack.
Ah jellies, I remember when they were introduced and how everyone immediatelly started despising them, me included. Now I usually just use a dolphin to skip around and avoid any fighting till I find a good breeding pair of basilos, sometimes I skip that to just get a tuso (giant squid) or a mosa. But tuso is also kinda immune to jellies and eels with crazy damage output so it's just safer all around but you might want to get more comfortable with the ocean biome before going for that. You were pretty courageous to hit the water caves without getting to know the terror of jellyfish or eels, good thing you didn't go to the other one though, would be much, much worse!
the shiny things are where you can get silica pearls. They don't shine on ascended unfortunately though if you do ever get ASA in the future. The Jellyfish dismount you and if they're stunning your tames, it stops you from mounting them.
Silica Pearls..thanks, I knew they had to be something. Those jellyfish are very dangerous. They got me pretty good. I think I will be trying to tame a basilosaurus
Basilo is immune to jellyfish and eels attacks. If there is no Basilo, then use a crossbow to fire at them underwater.
Ah yeah, I can see now why people like them 🙂

Thanks. I think i'll be looking for a Basilo 🙂

Thank you. I'm trying to breed more bary's now! 🙂

@@grayel964 good idea. Those jellyfish are awful. I was pretty sure I wasn't pressing the wrong key, lol.

Oh, the jellies are terrible! 🙂 I learned a good lesson there about the ocean.
@@RidleyFox1 Don't worry, we all did, some worse than others. Heard of people losing mosas to those things!

And this isn't even considered the difficult water cave! Yikes!
This was a rough one for me, for sure!
