Definitely hit hard
I cried so hard. Reminds me of my best friend who I lost suddenly to an accident. She was my partner in crime. We did a lot of stupid shit, we can read each other's mind, and we laughed a lot (we also had one major fight, but we worked it out). I haven't had another friend like that since. It's been 9 years, and I still wish she was around. But I am grateful I got to experience such a beautiful, soul nourishing friendship.

I feel you... lost one of my precious friend to cancer. She was my concert partner and ironically, the last show we saw together was Boy and Bear in MTL. She was the kind of friend who was always rock n' rolling hard.... I miss her x
I also lost my best friend to cancer when she was just 34, leaving 2 little girls. That was April 1997 and I miss her every day of my life. Beautiful Meredith, we never had a disagreement, she was also my partner in crime, even when she was terminal, nothing stopped her. So loyal, and she loved me, even with all of my faults. I will never have another friend like that but that’s ok, I had her as my bestie and am so grateful for that.

Boy & Bear, you are an amazing band. I've seen you twice and you're great. I was reminded of you today on the radio when I heard Harry Style's song - Golden. I was thinking "I've definitely heard this song before" and so I went through your discography until I found Old Town Blues. Then I I thought ah that's where I've heard this before...such a great song (yours, that is). That resemblance is just too uncanny....

I was surfing random videos TH-cam offers me. All of them were like 'posted week/month ago with 20-50-70k views'. All of them were like chewing gum changing each other until this video. I'm just loving this album so much. Found you guys on Spotify not that long back and loved a couple of songs I heard...Old Town Blues especially. But you sound like you've evolved a bit and I'm really into this album already.
Hasn't been that long for me either- a few months, but I can't remember how I stumbled on this remarkable band. Old Town Blues and Southern Sun were the first songs to grab me and not let go. Now I listen to several albums.
I'm an old man and not many bands come along and attach themselves to me like these guys do anymore.

To be honest it’s disappointing about the Cd as we ordered as soon as preorders were allowed.
