i let 1/3 of my garden go for grass. i use a brush axe to cut it down for rabbit fodder. it sucks greatly compared to your scythe lol like you said in the video its a bit expensive but ive got 6 breeding does and 2 bucks and over 30 kits and over 10 grow outs so that scythe is looking better every day lol
Nice! That’s a pretty big rabbit operation. another reason I want the scythe is if rabbit pellets would become unavailable it would be easier to harvest large quantities of rabbit fodder, and I guess hay for my milk cow too😁
That’ll sure give you some exercise! Missed you on here. Welcome back lol. Good looking tool. I’d call them and tell them about that handle. For that much money they ought to make it right. Me and the misses are leaving pigeon forge, in the morning and are planning on going home through Crossville and up 127. We plan on stopping at your wife’s family store and stock up on some things on our way through. God bless y’all! Stay cool buddy!
@@Jared-Brubaker yeah I was surprised! That’s nice and I bet y’all are happy! You got a great looking garden! I recognized your fence along the road. We went to the family’s store and I got stocked up on honey and found a cool SOG multitool in the knife case(curio cabinet) and my wife got some fresh breads and a few other sweets. You live in a beautiful area! I didn’t see any sorghum growing or I overlooked it. Do they plant it later so it’ll be ready for milling in the fall? We noticed the campground on your road and may pull our camper down this fall and watch them make the syrup(and go to the flea market in Crossville). We enjoy coming down there. We went to Cades Cove last fall and watched Mr Guenther make syrup with his mules. I helped him set the pole on the mill and helped him pack wood to the cooker. I’m not much for just standing around lol. It was neat to watch. Anyway you take care buddy and I’ll be looking forward to seeing your next video.
@@ClarksKentuckyKnives thanks! It’s a good garden this year, Jenelle is doing great keeping up with harvest and canning. Yeah there’s a lot of cane growing but most fields are not visible from the road and it looks like corn at this stage. If you come this fall you’re welcome to stop in at our house and say hi!
@@Jared-Brubaker Mine is the 29th, I turned 44 🤣 but I thought we might share the same birthday is why I was asking. I put my video out on the 30th, so i fugured there was an upload delay in there. Have a good day brother!
That is good tool I missed it. I was pretty good 20 years ago with that many hours of use. Let me tell you that handle is complete garbage just watch some Ukrainian vid on how it's supposed to look like and how to use. Look like you okay w use just make your own handle from strong wood. It's just straight with 90' short handle for right hand

@@Jared-Brubaker if I see you out I will. Take care down there.
Thinking about you this past week, wondering if all was well. Good to see it is.
Thanks brother, I didn’t mean to stop making videos, it just kinda happened and projects go much quicker when I’m not videoing 😁
I know what you mean. Having to mess around with cameras probably doubles the time on many projects.

Hope all is well … enjoy your videos….
Thanks Bob. All is well, I just got out of the habit of making videos.
That’s pretty sweet! How are the bees doing?
The bees are doing good, our sourwood trees are just starting to pop so hopefully I’ll be able to make a lot of sourwood honey if the flow is good.
@@Jared-Brubaker yeah hope that goes good! Need some more bee videos!
I may have missed it but where did you order the scythe from?
