I often rode keihin touhoku and saikyou line for 3 years from 2015-2018 and I never knew Takanawa gateway station exists.

I am glad you get on Keihin Tohoku Line for 3 years.
Takanawa Gateway Station is opened in 2020. Now there are no stores but JR East is building the city. I can’t wait!
