Jungkook is so hardworking and humble. Many might think he has it easy cause he is naturally gifted but they don't really see the amount of hours and dedication it takes to be on his level. His perseverance and his work ethic is admirable. He has so much pressure since being youngest, being the center and main vocalist of the group. And because he’s a perfectionist, he holds himself to extremely high standards and never feels like he’s “arrived.” I just wish he stops being so hard on himself sometimes because He truly deserves all of his titles and all the praises he gets.

This is so underrated about jungkook… every BTS guide and his part of an intro says the BTS members took care of him when he was younger… and he’s naturally good at everything lol people really diminish his hard work.. how much he does for the other members and really how much he’s responsible for …. He’s the sweetest funniest and most unique people I have ever seen… never seen a harder worker or someone go more full out than he does every single second he’s on stage… his energy is insane and it’s truly on another level!!! Everything he does is just so underrated and I love that his hyungs helped him grow but he also helped them all grow… they all did.. they grew up as a family… and jungkook more than holds his own… and half of his intros shouldn’t just be about the other members is all .. bc then that should go for all of them… especially our maknae line lol just wish people appreciated everything he does and how hard he works for every single thing he does … it’s under appreciated imo

Our talented maknae. His dedication to his craft is awe-inspiring. I love how he never stops learning, trying out new things. For example, in the begining of this year he started getting dance lessons to learn “house style” dancing and he’s getting drum lessons aswell. His constant urge to get better at no matter what he does even though he is already good is really admirable

JK earned his BA recently and got the President's Award even though in one of their yearly talks he said he felt like he stopped learning at 15. All the members have finished degrees online and have earned honors. Jin has a Masters and the rest are in online Masters programs except JK, unless he has just signed up for one. Their ambition and ability to get stuff done is amazing. I think they have been encouraged in academics to be in leadership positions in their industry and beyond. This is so different from the US where athletes and artists are treated differently. HYBE has actively facilitated their artistic and intellectual growth.

People assume Jungkook just has God given talent because sure he had vocal potential, but he had no formal training in anything prior. But he worked and continues to work incredibly hard on everything. We still see him constantly singing in the background of videos all the time, he's taking dance lessons for house music, he listens to a variety of music constantly, he works out and boxing to stay in shape, and he tries to learn to play different instruments. He's almost always last to leave stage rehearsals and we've seen him stay to practice even after a 3hour concert! We've seen tremendous growth and new techniques in his vocals even in the last 2 years. And of course all the time he spends in studio doing vocal guides, background vocals, mixing the tracks, etc. Even after all that, he's so humble and has such a kind heart. That's straight passion and crazy hard work

Just to give you some infos about jk's background. You're welcome to check them yourself so you'll know cos I don't like inventing stuff that are not true like other stans do to hype their faves.
When jk joined bh he was already talented why more talented than anyone. His talent was already above level when he joined bh. He wanted to become a singer n rapper that's why he joined bh.
His artistic skills began when he was a child cos it runs in his blood. His dad n brother are both great artists. That's how jk developed his artistic skills from childhood. His love for art, painting sketching drawing and photography developed from childhood cos of his family.
Jk studied taekwando and martial arts when he was a child ( you should check out "Jungkook compilation of flexibility martial arts and skills by just jungguk ) he's a taekwando black belter did you know that? His parents engaged him n his brother into sports his parents are both athletic. Jk said in a vlive his dad won national Championship in bowling while jk won a championship in 2015. Armys who know it I hope they tell here what national championship was that cos I forgot.
Jk has his own mind he knows what he wants even from childhood his first love was singing then rapping that why he joined superstar k he was eliminated cos superstar said he's top talented n had idol potential after that he received 7 to 9 business cards to joined them one of them was bighit. .
Jk was a very mature level headed young boy who knows what he wants n how to get it that's why he joined a talent show.
Jk said his first love is singing he's a singer before anything else. He love to sing. When he debuted as main vocalist he said his first love is singing n he wants to be the kind of singer that everyone remembers n loves. It became true.
Jk already knows who he is and what he wants as am early age and that is singing. He's already talented his members didn't influence his vocal skills or his skills. He's already a singer when he joined bighit. He loves to rap too that's why he became the sub rapper.
He's already very talented in everything He excels in everything why rm called him golden. Maknae at such an early age.

It's from his own mixtape but bighit submitted it as demo japanese producers loved it. Bighit didn't let him sing it alone turned it into ot7 song. Same with film out. It became an ot7 too. Film out is not his own song it belongs to Shimizu a member of back number ( Japanese band) jk Co composed and Co Produced it from scratch. Again bighit turned it into an ot7 song like magic shop they're not giving jk solo opportunities. Even my time and Euphoria is under bts. 36:06 Okay Lo in a sense is right, in a way Jungkook DID lose his childhood, Jungkook himself said that he felt like he stopped mentally growing when he became a trainee, the rest of the members at least go to live through their teenage years before choosing this path, JK didn't really get any of that
And I know there's some people who might argue and say "Well who cares that he didn't have a lot of childhood memories, he's rich and he's apart of the biggest boy band in the world"/ Which is true, but I personally believe it's important for people to expiernce those crucial teenage years of your life.
If you pay attention to Jungkook you'll realize that he's kinda taking the things he wasn't able to do when he was a teenager and kind bringing that into his adult hood.
A lot of the times you'll see JK fidgeting a lot during interviews, not being able to sit still, one of the members always having to like pat his head or something to get him to kinda calm down a little bit, he always zones out 24/7, one time during bon voyage while they were ordering their food, the members literally gave him the coloring sets that come with the kids meals so that he would be occupied.
Jk definitely still has that childlike mindset (Of course we all know he's also extremely responsible and mature) but at the same time out of all the members he definitely still has the attributes that comes with being a young adolescent, and I personally think that's a result of him having to work at such a young age and not having the opportunities to do what a regular kid would do in their teenage years.
Also, it explains why at like parties and stuff he's really reserved, cause if you think about it he never went through the like angsty/rebellion/Frat boy-girl kinda phase that pretty much EVERYONE goes through.
If you read some of their interviews, you'll hear a lot of people say that Jungkook has like a pure aura about him, a recent interview that was just released from a women who met BTS, she mentioned.... (This is her words, word for word)
"Jungkook was truly the purest of all purity, maybe because he's the youngest. cuteness level is at maximum bowed down to all the staff in the end before leaving. Looks like a polite person who take care of people very well, he was the member who was the most different from what I assumed he would be like irl".
Also all the time you hear people say stuff like "You can definitely tell Jungkook is the youngest, he both looks and acts the youngest".
Jungkook in the beginning of BTS was also known to be SUPER shy, like way SHYER than he is now (He still is shy, but he was so shy back then that he used to cry if someone told him to sing, and he used to take showers only after all the rest of the members were sleep) and he was also kinda know to be a little stingy when it came to sharing and stuff.
And Jungkook said that the members quickly corrected him on what's wrong and what's right and that they helped him get out of his shell (He mostly said it was Tae who helped him out of his shell).
Anyway back to the topic at hand, I do believe that Jungkook definitely DID sacrifice his childhood, which luckily worked out at the end, but I remember hearing about how Jungkook used to always cry at night because he said he missed him mom and dad and brother.
Every member connects to Jungkook in a way and I think that's why he loves them so much:
Joon- Joon is the reason why Jungkook auditioned for BTS in the first place, Jungkook says that his #1 role model in life is Joon, Jungkook said that his happiness began when he met Joon.
Jin- Jin was the one that convinced Jungkook to stay and not quit BTS, because Jungkook was missing his parents so much that he nearly gave up, Jin (since he had already priorly lived in Seoul, so his family lived there) would bring Jungkook to his parents house and they would hang and eat food together, Jin said that he loves all the members but he feels closest to Jungkook, and Jin was also the one who always made Jungkooks meals for him as well as take him to and from school. Also there's like a saying in the fandom and we always say that "Jin raised Jungkook to be his best friend".
Yoongi- Yoongi said that in a way he feels like he practically raised Jungkook, he said that when they debuted He was taller than Jungkook but as the years went on, Yoongi was able to witness Jungkook become taller than him, Yoongi definitely has a soft-spot for JK (Yoongi calls JK baby prince, and Yoongis dad also calls Jk a pure baby) Yoongi during the Festa of 2022 was getting slightly emotional because he said he realized how much Jungkook was growing, and Yoongi is always one of the first members to defend Jk.
Hobi- In the 2021 Festa video, Hobi mentioned that Jungkook is the one he values the most. During pre-debut days when Hobi was thinking about quitting and leaving BTS, Hobi said that when he sat down and mentioned to the members that he didn't really want to be there anymore, JK cried a lot and literally hugged him and begged him not to leave, Hobi said that he ended up hugging JK that night and they fell asleep in each others arms... The members said that behind the scenes a lot of people would be shocked to find out that Hobi and Jungkook are actually one of the closest members when it comes to bonds.
Jimin- Jimin always calls Jungkook his baby, Jimin said that he feels a strong connection to Jungkook because they were both born in Busan and also Jimins younger brother is the same age as Jungkook, so Jimin said that Jungkook would always remind him of him younger brother. When JK used to cry at night asking for his mom and dad, Jimin would sit with Jungkook and talk to him in his Busan dialect to comfort Jungkook.
Tae- Tae was the one that brought Jungkook out of his shell. And Tae said that he thinks of Jungkook as a baby and that Jungkook is adorable, he said that he values Jungkook a lot because Jungkook is his only doesang. So, Tae said he feels the need to protect Jungkook.
But in conclusion, Yes Jk did kinda lose out a lot of development and important moments from his childhood, but he is still 100% His own person, who has his own styles/feelings/and interests. I feel like once you guys react to more BTS, you'll start noticing it.
Sorry this is so long but I hope those mini Member analysis really kinda gives you a jist as to why Jungkook loves and cherishes his Hyungs so much.

Lo I feel you on the not really getting paintings and things. There’s a cute vid of Jimin telling RM something similar in one of their vlives. That when jimin sees a painting and there are nudes his first thought is like why are they naked. Lol
This is my first time watching you, so it's a pleasure to make you acquaintance. All of the members were pretty young - Jimin and V were 16-17 when they debuted, and Jin was the oldest at 20. They literally grew up in the spotlight, especially JK, who went through puberty while he was in BTS. It had to have some personally confusing effects, and I'm sure that JK for a while at least had trouble identifying himself outside the group. Then when they had their first real break, he decided to get his first tattoos, which was his first step toward becoming himself. He's still learning and growing, as all people are. You change and grow until the day you die. I hope that we're able to watch all seven of the members grow as artists and people as the years go by. This non-hiatus will be good for them. I hope that if they have to enter the military as well, that they'll be more able to learn about themselves and come back to BTS the richer for the experience.

Jungkook raised to be fearless,especiallyby his mom who let him doing anything for good.he said his mom only angry when he cheat once to get high numbers one subject of school.His mom told him you can do anything but when you cheat ,its big problem.
There a show when he co star with senior idol ,the senior got. surprised jungkook doing sports challenged so good even at first try..at the run BTS episode jungkook the only one who excited doing bungee jumping,the others got scared felt forced n stressed to do it.
I think JK inked himself as a sort of assertion, at that age he was beginning to come out of his shell but that doesn't mean he really knew himself fully or that he had matured enough to know himself. Remember in one interview he was saying he missed his Mom and I saw a video when he was still starting where his mom visited him and he ran to her and hugged her really tight... he said the streets of Seoul were 5 lanes and the buildings were tall... did you see any of the other members saying that? So I feel he was really an "ignorant" baby and an innocent, not even comparing him to the others. They attended his high school entrance and graduation remember... you say even at 40 a guy can still not be an adult or mature but in JK's case he did happen to be a newbie in life and career and so he has said that his hyungs took care of him and that he is a manifestation of their personalities altogether.

I watched this a few months ago when you first recorded it and then again today. In the past, I have questioned KPop Idols are expected to live their private lives but it does make it more likely that the Idol will focus his time on artistic development. Think of a Western stars where their dating lives and party going is extensively covered & is expected. I still think that the KPop standard is too restrictive and probably leads to the premature disbanding of some KPop groups but it does make their focus on work more likely.

Oh my god I know your comment is 8 months late, but I'm so glad someone pointed this out, THANK YOU! I've noticed that when they react to the other members vs when they react to Jungkook it's like two compeletely different groups, it feels like they always judge/critize him way more than they do the other members. And I know I'm not crazy because I've seen MULTIPLE people point this out. Like I'm not going to name names but they most defentily show bias towards other members compared to some others. It's like every time they go to compliment him it's almost like it's a backhanded compliment every single time, and I never wanted to say anything about it because I didn't want to get yelled at, but now that I see someone who agrees with me, it let's me I'm not being delusional lol
