They do a fantastic job of having these character themes fit the character as well, and not just in a lyrical sense. Lappland is unhinged but rational, wild yet refined, and she exudes confidence and danger. I think the nature of the song is perfect to communicate that. It's erratic but precise, frantic but never out of control. I remember when Marco reacted to Under Tides, a song with no lyrics, and correctly guessed about 80% of what the game context it was written for was about just off the music alone.

The theatrical/broadway vibe is very intentional. the theater in their hometown is a major location and they speak frequently through the story in terms of playing roles, everyone in Siracusa acting along the grand play of their mafioso society. the distorted transitions between the different feels in this track i think are a really good representation of how Lappland herself is. Antagonistic, conniving, full of black humor, but all the while she's a perfectly capable Operator, professional and respectful even with the object of her obsession. She knows everything about Texas, and not out of simply hating her guts. There is a scene between them where Texas is imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit. Lappland shows up to break her out, but first offers Texas some fancy chocolate as a token of goodwill. It is Texas' least favorite flavor. That's a good microcosm of their dynamics, Lappland knows /exactly/ what button to press while Texas is a master of keeping her reactions in check. Unstoppable force vs the most stoic object. these are some of my favorite characters so i won't get too in the weeds, i'm just happy to give a little more context behind the mind this song is about!

Honestly I don't think Arknights really has a style. They just make a wide variety of themes, hence the "music company" community joke. The only part that would be consistent is probably the in game music for the main story.
