We all remember Jose, Carlo, Roberto and Antonio as great managers while back then interim manager Guus Hinddink is criminally underappreciated. I always wonder how this season would looked like if chelsea had Guus HInddink as a manager to begin with. They were in mess with the brazilian fraud, before Guus was appointed. Chelsea was a different team under Guss. Guus's chelsea eliminated juventus and liverpool who had 'peaked' Gerrard and Torres in ucl. Though eliminated by barca. He formed the Drogba-Anelka-Maluda trio whom they reclaimed the league title with record goal next season. We really need to give Guus Hinddink more credit.
@@achyuthbalakrishnan5851chelsea was in winnable 5 competitions when Benitez took over. from challenging epl title race to club world cup which should be a cake walk. He lost all of it, in the most idiotic ways. Europa league was just scrapping from garbage. Benitez promised that he can bring Torres to his glory days. But in the end he ended up signing Demba Ba from Newcastle in winter transfer. So he lied in that aspect. He neglected John Terry saying he was no longer a top level player. i really miss watching football, with the audience in the stands, and before starting the match the players shake hands, hopefully the pandemic will pass quickly..
The goals from Anelka and Malouda were really bittersweet. Both players had magical moments in Chelsea blue, but also ended up leaving the club under troubled circumstances. As a fan all you can do is wish them well, whatever they're doing now. Grateful for the memories.
That sequence from 5:13 leading to the goal was just utterly phenomenal. If only Flo chipped or put more power behind the shot it would have been an incredible one touch, team goal but the rebound is what mattered in the end
I remember chelsea really dangerous whenever we got freekick/corner. We got accurate pass and many great header on our team, be it defender or striker.
0:52 - listen how arsenal fans boo Ashley Cole. They have zero respect to former players like Van Persie, Nasri, Fabregas & Ashley Cole which is why they always lose. They should learn from Chelsea fans. We didn't boo Cech & David luiz for joining arsenal.
This game perfectly illustrates everything that is lacking in Chelsea right now: Big personalities, pure gold talent, honor, power and glory. These players exuded grace and played with passion! If we had not been cheated by that Idiotic criminal referee Tom Henning Ovrebo we would have won a definite UCL title in 2009, it was evident we were phenomenal mirrored by how we swept all before us to win the league title the very next season 2009/10.
Chelsea when Guud Hiddink as head coach so calm and dangerous, 1-0 1-0 1-0 but after the day they lost to Barca that night they trashed out other teams like hungry revenge monsters
At the time achieving top 4 isn't good enough. Just shows the winning mentality we had and we need those 4 legends to manage Chelsea to install this mentality to our current players.
Missing the old days -- Lampard, Cole, Drogba :) :)
Look forward to the new days -- Mount, Havertz, Werner, Abraham, James, Chilwell, Ziyech, Pulisic

Terry, Cech,
Wish we had someone aggressive in the box like costa or drogba

That pass from Mikel! Never knew he hit one quite like that in his whole career! Stupidly underrated.
He does that regularly and more often than not they don't lead to goals. Which is why folks who didn't understand football criticize him.
He used to play Attacking Mid for Nigeria
When in the video?

Imagine having lampard and drogba in the same team absolute madness 💙💙💙💙💙
Kane and Son are a better partnership. Drogba averaged 12 goals per season and Lampard was a penalty merchant.
@@masonmountsagent8753 lol they can’t. Spurs are the biggest bottle jobs of the premier league. Their allergy to trophies don’t help them out
