Couldn't find any way to contact you directly, so had to settle for this. Ride a La Sal, chosen over a Ripmo after an online chat with you, never regretted it. Tempted by the present sale to upgrade to the new bike, but wondered why you went down to a medium. On a large frame now, I'm six foot, 165 lb., moderately aggresive but improving, not much of a jumper YET. Wondered what you thought (sale ending soon!).
Glad to hear you've been loving your La Sal! I'm 5'10", which is right between medium and large on pretty much every brand. I went medium on the new La Sal for the bit more agility with all the technical riding I do. It's a bit more twitchy at high speed but overall I like the fit. If I was two inches taller I think the medium would be a bit too short though. At 6 foot, I'd stick with a large
@@pirouette5600 the new La Sal definitely feels more burly and can smash harder with the extra 20mm of travel, but amazingly it really does pedal and climb slightly better than the old La Sal. Really the only thing I liked better about the old one was space in the front triangle for two bottles, but overall while the old La Sal is amazing, the new one is better in pretty much every way. If you actually need 170mm of travel for your riding. There's no point in having a bike this big if you don't actually need it, and in this case the Delano (which can be long-shocked up to 147mm rear travel with a 160mm fork) is a better all-round option for most people that don't need the La Sal
Amazing country, amazing ride. Thanks as always for letting us experience it vicariously.
Thank you for watcing!
thumbs up for taking us along on another unique country trail !
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
@MinerBiker Thanks! Forgot to ask, do you feel like there's a lot of difference in the bikes? Good sale, but not inexpensive by any means.
