Sir, we reduce our FA from 8.5 to 7.7% Now for the electric & thermal saving calculation the FA % will be 7.7% or (7.7/8.5=9.41%) Which one will be correct 7.7% or 9.41%
Take the difference only -8.5-7.7=0.9 only then electrical saving={0.9/100)*Electrical power For thermal saving the calculation will be discussed in upcoming pyromodules.

It is a very simple calculation -Cooler efficiency=output heat of cooler/Cooler input heat
Suppose cooler input heat=390 kcal/kg clinker
At 0.75 efficiency; output heat=292 kcal/kg clinker
At 0.65 , output heat=253.5 kal/kg clinker
Difference=292-253
=39 kcal /kg clinker

On mass basis...it's not by volume..
Because volume changes with temperature... therefore we have to calculate on mass basis...
